Start your day at Portugal's most iconic Romanticist masterpiece. As your host from Sintra, we include your entrance tickets to ensure a seamless visit. We strategically manage our arrival time to try to bypass the crowds, allowing you to enjoy the palace’s vibrant colors and breathtaking views with ease.
Witness the ancient 9th-century walls snaking across the mountain peaks. While we pass by this historic fortress, your guide will share its secrets. Should you wish to walk the ramparts, we can adjust our pace, though we often recommend focusing on Sintra’s more intricate hidden gems
Immerse yourself in the heart of our fairytale village. Wander through medieval cobblestone alleys, admire the National Palace's iconic twin chimneys, and indulge in the local flavors by tasting the famous "Travesseiros" and "Queijadas" pastries.
Step into a world of mystery and Masonic symbolism. Famous for its inverted "Initiation Well," this early 20th-century estate is a labyrinth of secret tunnels and lush gardens. Your guide will unlock the esoteric meanings behind this captivating estate.
Enjoy a scenic drive past the exotic beauty of Monserrate. This botanical park and palace are renowned for their intricate details and romantic atmosphere—a perfect example of Sintra’s diverse architectural heritage.
Stand at the westernmost point of Continental Europe. Perched on 140-meter-high cliffs, this dramatic cape offers sweeping Atlantic views. It is a powerful location where you truly feel the scale of the ocean.
We follow the coastal road past the dunes of Guincho, a world-class surf haven, until we reach the "Hell’s Mouth."
Here, you’ll witness the raw power of the Atlantic as it crashes into an ancient collapsed sea cave.
Conclude your journey with a panoramic drive through the sophisticated town of Cascais. Admire the old citadel and the elegant 19th-century architecture of the "Portuguese Riviera" as we head back to Lisbon along the scenic seaside road.

This was one of my favorite days of our trip! Many different locations and free time! The towns were so beautiful and different and our guide, Natasha was wonderful and a wealth of knowledge. Must do!!!
Thank you for this — I'm really happy the day earned a spot among your favorites. That mix of towns, each with its own character, plus enough free time to just wander a bit, is exactly the balance we aim for on that route. I'll pass your kind words along to the team as well. Thank you again, and I hope Portugal calls you back before too long. Rui
Natacha is one of the best tour guides we have ever had, and we have taken many tours over the years. Her knowledge, friendly personality, and welcoming manner were exactly what our family needed while traveling with our children. As a local, Natacha truly knows her stuff. She shared fascinating insights and details throughout the day that brought each stop to life and made the experience even more meaningful. She was patient, engaging, and wonderful with our kids, making everyone in our family feel comfortable and included. We would highly recommend this full-day tour to anyone visiting the area—but if you have the opportunity, be sure to request Natacha. She made an already fantastic tour absolutely unforgettable.
Dear Family, Thank you so much for this wonderful review — it truly made our day! It means the world to us to hear that your guide made your family feel so welcome and that her knowledge brought each stop to life. Traveling with children can be a challenge, and knowing everyone felt included and at ease is exactly what we strive for. We will make sure she knows how much your kind words mean — she absolutely deserves it. We hope to welcome your family back to Portugal one day! Warm regards, Rui
John was an excellent tour guide. Very informative. He gave us plenty of time at each stop.
Thank you, Lisa — really glad the day felt balanced and unhurried. Sintra, Roca, and Cascais each deserve their own moment, and it's always good to hear that the pace allowed for that. Hope Portugal left a good impression. Rui
Marta gave us a warmhearted tour with lots of personal attention. It’s the details that matter on a tour like this, and Marta was great.
Thank you, William — couldn't agree more. The details are everything. Glad Sintra, Roca, and Cascais felt personal and unhurried. Hope Portugal stays with you. Rui
This full day private tour was beyond our expectations! Our guide, Marta, was personable, funny, and very knowledgeable about the history of Portugal and more specifically, about the sights we saw. She brought us to quaint little shops that helped make the trip even more special. Would highly recommend!
Thank you, Angela — Sintra, Roca, and Cascais pack a lot into one day, and we're glad it all felt special rather than rushed. Those quieter little stops along the way are often what people remember most. Hope Portugal is firmly on the list for a return visit. Rui
We had a really wonderful day, despite the rainy weather. Our guide, Rui, was very knowledgeable and took great care of us. His car was roomy and very comfortable. He took care of all the tickets and was very familiar with everywhere we visited, providing interesting history and stories as we moved from location to location. He also knew the best spots for photos, so we ended up with some fantastic photos as memories. We enjoyed a delicious pastry break in the morning, and he dropped us off for lunch at a wonderful restaurant for lunch where we appeared to be the only tourists (exactly the kind of place you want to enjoy lunch, imho!). The weather was very challenging, but he managed to show us some beautiful seaside spots before the end of the day. Highly highly recommended!
Thank you, Margot — a rainy day in Sintra has its own kind of atmosphere, and I'm glad we managed to make the most of it. Those quieter restaurants where you feel like a local rather than a tourist are always worth the detour, and the coast has a certain drama to it when the weather is moody. Really glad the day worked out well despite it all. Hope Portugal calls you back on a sunnier occasion — though honestly, It is allways great :) Rui
Such a great tour, we booked again for the next day! Everything was unbelievably perfect. The logistics were superb-easy pickup at our hotel, great communication, perfect van. All the details were handled. Our guide, Marta, had coordinated beforehand and made lunch reservations and had everything handled. But, hands down, the highlight was our guide herself, Marta! She was an absolute joy-friendly, knowledgeable, perfect English, and just an overall great person. I’d say we all became friends after our two days together. (And we really did book her for a trip to Fatima the next day on the spot. We had such a great time with her, we were ecstatic to spend the next day as well!) Can’t recommend this tour enough! It was perfect!!
Thank you — booking a second day on the spot is about the finest compliment a tour can receive. Sintra, Roca, and Cascais is already a full day, and then heading to Fátima the next morning — that's Portugal done properly. Glad the logistics felt effortless and that everything came together the way it should. Hope to welcome you back for a third day one day. Rui
What an amazing day! Rui was exceptional! We saw so much in one day but never felt rushed. Sintra was so beautiful! Cascais was stunning! We highly recommend booking this tour!
Thank you, Barb — that stretch from Sintra to Roca and down to Cascais packs a lot into one day, and I'm glad it felt unhurried despite it all. That coastline has a way of making time feel generous. Hope to see you back in Portugal one day. Rui
We had the absolute pleasure of spending the day with Rui, and it was truly one of the best travel experiences we have ever had. From start to finish, he went above and beyond to show us the beauty, history, and charm of Lisbon. Our private tour included a visit to the castle, where Rui shared fascinating historical details, as well as stops at several stunning cathedrals and landmarks. He also drove us through unique neighborhoods that we never would have found on our own. Throughout the day, Rui introduced us to local eateries where the food was nothing short of amazing, even helping us with ordering so we could fully enjoy authentic Portuguese flavors. What impressed us most was his dedication — Rui spent nearly 13 hours with us, ensuring we experienced everything Lisbon had to offer. His knowledge of the city, warm personality, and genuine passion for sharing his culture made the entire day unforgettable. If you are visiting Lisbon, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Rui. You will see the city in a way that guidebooks simply cannot capture, and you will leave with both incredible memories and a deep appreciation for this beautiful place. Highly recommend!
Jon was great, The private tour was wonderful. Jon was knowledgeable and very nice. He arranged a great spot for lunch.
