Great day trip from London. Riding the train down and back was fun and gives you locals perspective on getting around the UK. Brighton was a fun town, definitely stay amd explore the downtown and beachfront areas after the vmbus tour is done before heading back to London. What was nice is that the train ride back to London is on your own (they give you a ticket) so you can stay as long or as little as you want in Brighton after the official tour is over. The seven sisters was fun to see, reminded me of the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland.
The cliffs were beautiful. The bus was very comfortable and our guide gave us lots of facts about the countryside we were driving through (gorgeous views). We even stopped of at a local farm. If the weather isn’t calm (was very windy our day because a storm was starting), I wouldn’t recommend doing the optional walk along the top of the cliffs back to the visitor center because the winds at the top of the cliffs were too strong (just get off the bus at the visitor center for great views/ pictures). Brighton was wonderful and very walkable. I love how we had free time there to explore/ we got an individual train ticket so we could take a later train back to London if we wanted (three trains ran each hour and ran until 10pm so there were plenty of times to chose from). The Brighton Pier was beautiful to walk on, get fish n chips. There were lots of local shops on the Lanes to explore. I wanted to se more of the countryside on my trip to London, and this day trip was perfect.
The experience was terrible. After arriving in Brighton we were informed that the transport that would give us the tour had broken down. Without explaining any criteria, they selected 18 persons to give them the tour, and 7 told us that they were very sorry for not being able to give us the Service, that they gave us our train ticket to return to London and that they would later return the money, which has not happened until today. We do not recommend it.
Hello, We are sorry your day did not go as planned. You booked our Brighton and Seven Sisters Tour, unfortunately the minibus for your tour experienced a mechanical fault after arriving at Brighton Station to pick you up. The other guests were booked on a different tour. As Brighton was half of your tour we supplied you with the return train tickets back to London and one of our guides took you in to Brighton and helped you organise the bus to the Seven Sisters. You have been issued a full refund, as you booked through Viator this can take up to five working days. Our driver was on hand to explain everything in the morning to you but maybe this was lost in translation. We also contacted you, through the number given on the booking to fully explain the situation that arose. We understand your day didn't happen as expected, fir which we are trolly sorry and mechanical faults can happen on new vehicles. Thus is the first such situation we have had like this in 10 years Apologies once again.
Our guide Laurence was amazing. He was informative and really wanted us to have the best experience. He also watched the weather to keep us out of the rain during our tour. Ish was very kind and helpful getting us to Brighton on the train.
Great little trip, the guide was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained. The views of the 7 sisters were breathtaking and would definitely recommend as it covered good spots of Brighton as well
Had a lovely day. Enjoyed the Seven Sisters and Brighton was also surprising and cosy. Nice guide had. Great getaway.
Very good coordination, organization and good staff readiness. Recommended to anyone who wants to have a quick view of the area.
Great! Adam knew all the restroom spots! He also knew a lot about the going ons of the town. Im glad we got to spend most of our time exploring seven sisters. It was definitely worth it. A dream come true! Also we didn't have to hike too much. Adam drove us to the best spots and we got to see all the views without that crazy long hike.
Our guide, Lawrence, was very knowledgeable of the area. He provided great insight and pleasant travels.
Ish and Adam were great hosts both at central London and Brighton. Adam explained everything very well and took at all spots allowing enough time to explore the places. Highly recommended tour to do as a day trip from London. You will have great time both at Seven Sisters as well as Brighton.
