A stunning view over Lagoa do Fogo, considered by many to be the most beautiful lagoon in São Miguel. The descent along the south coast of the Fogo volcano on the way back to the hotel, provides on clear days a magnificent landscape over the south and north coast of the island. Our guide, Henrique, did an excellent job driving and he gave detailed information and insight into where we were going and what we were seeing. He is very smart, kind and considerate and has a wonderful sense of humor. He clearly went beyond expectations by offering assistance with our future departure.
This tour was Outstanding!! We saw a lot of sites, ranging from 2 of the volcanos, black sand beach, small village, and a delicious traditional Sunday meal. I highly recommend ,IGoAzores Tours. You will not be disappointed.
It was a full day in an 8 seater Mercedes vito driver/ guide was professional and friendly. It was Sunday and a few places were closed the weather was generally good although one lake was totally cloudy bound. Lunch was ok a little crowded. Worth doing the tour for sure

Enjoyable day. Saw lots of different natural wonders of the island. Some elements of the itinerary description were absent (no liqueur tasting) but didn't detract. Even had a few moments with fewer other people as sites were all quite busy. Would do another one.
