I booked this experience directly with the boat boys and made several requests, including getting flowers, picking us up, and letting us off at different locations. Everything went as planned, to every single detail, and I have to thank the captain and the team for the marvellous romantic experience I had with my wife. We found the booking process simple with good communication when we asked for extras and a long tour. The guide was knowledgable and struck a good balance between providing commentary and giving us privacy. He congratulated us on our anniversary, served coffee, beer (complimentary) and the bottle of Veuve Cliquot champagne we ordered. Thoroughly enjoyed touring canals away from the big tour boats, along with the greatest hits, in an immaculate 100+ year old small boat, with cover, cushions, blankets and a toilet. Perfect!
