This small 18th century fortress stands on a volcanic cliff overlooking the Atlantic. From here, the coast was once guarded to protect the island from pirates and privateers. Today, its volcanic stone walls and imposing silhouette have become a symbol of Lanzarote’s history and character, accompanying your journey with the memory of another time.
This cove of dark sand and crystal clear waters is a haven of peace for those who seek to disconnect and let themselves be carried away by the serenity of the sea. Its name comes from the reddish tones of the cliffs that frame it, a spectacular contrast to the intense blue of the Atlantic. From the deck of the ARUAL, the landscape becomes a natural painting of volcanic colors and ocean, inviting you to enjoy a moment of calm and contemplation in an authentic Lanzarote environment.
First jewel of the Natural Monument of Los Ajaches, Playa Mujeres is also the most extensive of the Papagayo Beaches. Its wide strip of golden sand and turquoise waters create a vibrant and bright environment. Due to its easy access from land it is the busiest, although when arriving by boat the perspective changes completely: contemplating it from the sea allows to enjoy its natural beauty in all its magnitude, with the freedom to choose whether to anchor nearby or continue to more intimate coves.
After skirting El Pozo Beach and the cozy Playa de La Cera, we will arrive at Papagayo Beach, the most iconic jewel in southern Lanzarote, with its unmistakable crescent shape, golden sands and vibrant blue waters that look like postcards. Our day aboard the ARUAL was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we stepped on board, Paco and Ali made us feel so welcome. They were fantastic hosts—friendly, professional, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and having the best time. The boat was beautiful, the atmosphere was relaxed and fun, and the entire experience was unforgettable. Every member of our group had an amazing day, and it's safe to say it was one of the highlights of our trip. A huge thank you to Paco and Ali for looking after us so well and making the day so special. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we'll definitely be booking another trip with ARUAL the next time we're back. Highly recommended!
We booked the Arual Experience yacht trip for my husband’s 40th birthday and honestly could not have asked for a better experience. From booking at home before our holiday, everything was so easy. Paco answered all my messages quickly and was incredibly accommodating from start to finish. When we arrived, Ali greeted us and took us to the boat, which had been decorated with 40th balloons and birthday banners making it feel really special. The yacht itself was beautiful — spotless, comfortable and really well cared for. You can tell Paco and Ali genuinely care about giving people an amazing experience. The food was fantastic too — delicious chicken, potatoes, bread, cheese and more, plus unlimited drinks including beer and champagne. Sitting at the front of the yacht taking in the views was absolutely amazing. We brought our own snorkel gear but they also had snorkels available if needed, as well as paddle boards which were great fun. They even took lots of lovely photos for us so we could properly enjoy the trip without worrying about getting pictures. Such a memorable day and worth every penny. Thank you Paco and Ali for making my husband’s 40th so special — we would 100% recommend this experience to anyone visiting Lanzarote!

We booked the afternoon trip for 7 adults,4 hours in duration including drinks , snacks and a BBQ. Paddleboarding and swimming / snorkelling . Paco and Ali welcomed us aboard the boat and soon set off into the distance . We were all given drinks and lovely cheese / bread and Spanish meats and other Tapas . After around 30-40 mins we parked up in the bay around 100m from some lovely beaches . The paddle boards , snorkels and floating islands came out and we all made great use of them in the crystal clear waters . We were then served a lovely bbq on the boat along with salads and Canarian potatoes with I cream and fruit to finish . After dinner we headed back to the marina . It really was a great afternoon.
Everything was well organized, the food abundant and excellent , the boat incredible , a very friendly adventure
Amazing experience, highly recommended. We were able to do water sports like snorkeling and paddle surfing, enjoying the very clear waters of the Papagayo area. In addition to this, thanks to the 360 waterproof camera included with the trip, we were able to immortalize these moments and shoot very funny videos in the water. All this, in addition to the company of Alicia and Paco, and the impeccable yacht that we could enjoy, make this a must-see experience in Lanzarote.
It has been an unforgettable experience, a very professional and attentive crew. I wouldn't change anything about my day at ARUAL. Just a perfect day!
