Guests departing from Playa Blanca have the option of an earlier departure to enjoy free time at Marina Rubicón before setting sail. Market days at Marina Rubicón take place every Wednesday and Saturday, making this an excellent opportunity to combine the famous market, marina atmosphere, shopping, and your catamaran cruise all in one day. We will drop anchor in the sheltered bay of Papagayo Beaches, where you can swim around the catamaran or go snorkeling. For those who prefer to relax, unwind with a siesta or simply take in the sights and sounds of the gentle waves. Lounge on the comfortable nets or soft seating areas and soak up the sun in total comfort. A variety of snacks and drinks are available for purchase onboard, including beer, sangria, water, soft drinks.

Terrible experience, never got a confirmation email from the company or TripAdvisor. The meet up address on TripAdvisor was very unclear. I couldn’t find the location of the meet up and missed it. The manager Sylvia I believe had no compassion or grace and was very rude. Will not be booking with them ever again. The whole situation ruined my birthday

A pleasant boat trip however very short and sweet. You are taken over to Papayagos where the boat anchors for a swim stop. Staff were friendly and pick up/meet was convenient.

Relaxing and fun trip. Great music playing, like a chilled party boat. Everyone there to have a great time. Picked up from the marina and sailed across to the sea near Playa Papagayo, with plenty of time for a swim and snorkel in the sea. Fish under the boat were a blue luminescence, really pretty. Refreshments and snacks served on board during the stop (for a charge but the trip cost is very reasonable so I’d prefer to pay separately for food etc). Guys running the trip were very professional and kind. Would definitely do this again and recommend to others.

Great morning cruise, had plenty of time to swim in the water, jump off boat or go down slide. Brilliant morning out for all ages would recommend.

Great wee trip , collected at the marina Rubicón and took out to sea where the boat anchored and we got out to swim and snorkel. The staff were great . They had drinks on the boat at a reasonable price. About a 2 hour experience which was perfect! Would recommend

We had an amazing time, definitely one of if not the highlight of our trip. The crew are brilliant and make you feel at ease from the moment you step on board. The swimming spot was definitely our favourite part! We got to slide into the ocean where the crew gave us snorkeling equipment and threw food for the fish so we could get a close up view. We didn't want it to end. There is refreshments & snacks on board and separate toilets for male and female guests. Thank you guys for a truly unforgettable trip.

We loved it from beginning to end. The captain, Diego, was friendly and a fabulous host as were the rest of his crew. While it was a bit cold we still took advantage of the opportunity to snorkle, and saw some really beautiful fish. The boat ride itself was definitely the highlight, the views of the island are just magic.

Booked the Papagoya beach catamaran trip for less than £30 pp. Got the 11.10 boat from Playa Blanca, got off at Rubicon Marina, had a couple hours at the market (Wednesdays and Saturdays) then got on the 1.50 beach trip. Got back to Playa Blanca around 4.30. Cracking day for the money. Hot dog, fries and drink on board only 6 euros. Highly recommended 10/10 They are missing a trick by not promoting this as a market plus swim trip package!
