This idyllic village is renowned for its pristine spring water ponds, which are the result of the mountain's melting snow filtering through the Earth for over 80 years. As you wander through the village, you'll encounter eight crystal-clear ponds, each with its unique charm and character. The surrounding area is adorned with traditional thatched-roof houses, further immersing you in a bygone era. This is a five-storied pagoda on the mountainside overlooking Fujiyoshida City and Mount Fuji off in the distance. The pagoda is part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine and was built as a peace memorial in 1963 nearly 400 steps up the mountain from the shrine's main buildings.
A beautiful flower garden faces both Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko. This place has some exciting ice cream flavors to try.
The drive back to Toyko will also be on the express highway to save more time for activities.

Take this tour! Mike was an exceptional and experienced guide that gave us a magical day seeing the views of Mt. Fuji and some of the beauty that is not far outside of Tokyo. We are a well traveled family and he is at the top of our tour guide list from around the world! The transportation is comfortable and clean, he is flexible to your needs, and knows how to make your day both engaging and memorable.
This was absolutely not a tour. It was a ride to different places. We were given one fact during the tour. Please know our driver was very kind, spoke very broken English, and was safe but there was no information given to call this a tour.
Mike was able to accomodate our special request of car seats for children and was early for our hotel pickup. He was very knowledgeable about the Hakone area and all the areas we visited. We had a great time!
Going to Fujikawagushiko is a great way of seeing Mount Fuji from various and beautiful angles, I really enjoyed the experience. Besides, having a private tour gave me freedom to decide what to do, and Yasir was great in advising me about the possible options
It's okay. I thought the tour was for 10 hours, but we only enjoyed 9 hours. We felt rushed visiting sites.
