We had a wonderful te seeing Pearl Harbor and Honolulu. Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions
Very personal feel to seeing the city and sharing his personal upbring gave us insite to the changes the area has and is experiencing. We would not have had as indepth tour with out his tour! Well worth doing
Well organized, driver was very I knowledgeable and got us back on time. We were escorted everywhere and really enjoyed this private tour.
Very knowledgeable and friendly. Liked that he was Hawai’i native. Picked us up in front of our hotel.
We recently went on a private city tour of Honolulu and Pearl Harbor and it was a great experience. The tour included Diamondhead and Waikiki also. The highlight of the tour was definitely Pearl Harbor. Our guide, Simina, was knowledgeable, and did a great job of sharing history, keeping things fun, and answering questions. She also was an excellent driver who never brought out her phone, so she was always on task!! She was very friendly and her vehicle, a roomy Mercedes, was clean and comfortable! The tour was well-organized and I appreciated that she went out of her way to show us specific sites especially for us. We are both professional musicians and she drove by the symphony hall area of Honolulu which was out of her way but she knew we’d enjoy seeing it. At Pearl Harbor, she directed us perfectly so we could make the most of our time there and helped set the mood for the tour. She also knew that photos were very important to us and she set up many spots for us to take the best photos! And she also took many photos of us together as a couple. Overall, I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting a private city tour and a stop at Pearl Harbor.
Do not use this operator, there are plenty of other reliable operators in the area - try one of them. We were so looking forward to this tour and the day before received an email confirming all the details. We were ready for collection at 9.45am for 10am as required. The company never turned up. After 20 minutes we started to try and contact them. We sent emails, texts and phoned the company. No response to any of our contacts. At 11.15am we gave up and went to explore Waikiki on our own. EIGHT hours later, we received a text message saying they were sorry for not turning up and that they had issued us a refund. No explanation. No recognition of the ruined day. No compensation. Appalling customer service. We only had 3 days in Hawaii. This therefore ruined a third of our holiday there. As I said, do not trust this company they are totally unreliable and appear not to care at all.
Ama was the best tour guide I have ever had. He was extremely knowledgeable, on time and had a wonderful personality with an amazing sense of humor.
Our tour guide Ama was very pleasant, knowledgeable and made us feel like we were already friends. Definitely recommend.
AMA was amazing. He shared so much history that it made our day and trip extremely fulfilling. There’s no way we would have learned so much about the islands and the culture without him. Definitely sharing his contact with all our friends and family for their trips.
Not worth the time or money. An excursion that can be done better on your own with a little planning. The driver guide (Ama) took us to Pearl Harbor National Memorial and provided tickets to the USS Arizona Memorial but we entered and toured the grounds and museums entirely on our own. Afterwards, we spent about an hour and a half driving around Honolulu as the guide provided historical information about Hawaii, and Honolulu in particular, while passing by sites. We only stopped at the palace and along the shore to take photos. This part of the excursion could also have been done on our own and would have allowed us to stop at multiple locations for extended periods of time. Overall, an expensive excursion that was not the best use of our limited time in Honolulu. Plan in advance, save money and explore Honolulu more actively!
