Sepp was a great tour guide during our time in Munich. He has the ability to find something special for everyone in our group. His local knowledge and thoughtful approach to guiding really made our Munich experience memorable. I would definitely recommend Sepp to anyone visiting the city!
Sepp was a fantastic guide! Thoroughly enjoyed our time spent with him learning about the old city! HIGHLY recommend!!
My family and I were visiting Munich and wanted to make sure that we did an English speaking tour to familiarize ourselves with Old Town and its history. Sepp did a great job welcoming us, walking us around and keeping us entertained as we scheduled the tour on the same day we arrived in Munich from the US. We had 5 adults and 2 kids in our extended family group, three generations, and he made it enjoyable for all!
My sister and I had a short layover in Munich. We wanted to make the best use of our time there, so we found a tour option via Viator called the 'Private Munich Old Town & Historical City Tour with optional Breakfast.' It was meant to be 2 to 3 hours. However, we sped through our tour and managed to complete it in just one hour. It was not ideal, but airport customs took longer than expected, and there was a lot of traffic to get to Old Town. Nonetheless, Sepp was great and made us feel welcome right away. We quickly walked around town, and he explained the history of the various buildings and sites. He shared insights about their culture and what life is like for the locals. He also took photos for us and spoiled us with Bavarian sandwiches. They were delicious! At the end, he helped us purchase our train tickets to return to the airport. Despite our time constraints, he made the best of it for us. I would definitely recommend him and request his services again when I return to the area. It was an A+ mini tour! Tip: Take train to and fro. Initially, we took a taxi to Old Town, which cost us $107 US dollars to go 22 miles (35 km) one way (June 2023). The train is cheaper, faster, and offers a scenic route.
My wife and I took the 2-hour tour of old town Munich with Sepp. It was very enjoyable and Sepp is very knowledgeable about the area and history. I highly recommend Sepp as a local guide for Munich. We would have loved to do a full day tour outside of Munich but our stay here is rather short.
Our Hotel, Le Méridien, in Munich recommanded us Sepp the Guide. We couldn't be more happy with this recommondation. We had wonderful two hours with Sepp who had shown us the top spots of the old town. Pleasant and fun person to be with!
This is the best guide we have had in our adventure over 6 countries so far. He is knowledgeable, interesting and a lot of fun. Everything that is stated in the tour description is exactly what we did. What was unexpected was how wonderful our guide was. I highly recommend this tour.
What a wonderful trip. The guide was funny, knowledgeable, and great for conversation. Walking through Munich with him was a blast. The breakfast (served with beer) was delicious. He gave us several recommendations of things to do in Munich after our tour as well as things to do in Salzburg, our next destination. He also brought beer to drink and other drinks on request for people that don't drink beer. He made it clear that he does these tours for fun, and it shows. I can't think of a better way to be introduced to a wonderful city.
Sepp was awesome! It ended up just being my daughter and I. Sepp was energetic, knowledgeable and engaged. I’d recommend him to anyone!
Now it finally worked out again. A great reunion in Munich with one of the best guides in town:) Whoever misses this city tour including white sausage breakfast is to blame for themselves - more so-called i ned ;) Merci Dir, Sepp!
