Fancy learning about a cottage industry in the Desa setting? This is it. Also great to have Wisnu to tell the tales while travelling around the Desa.
This was a 10/10 experience! Our driver Eroz and our guide Fiyo was the nicest people ever. They really made the day so special, and I can only give my biggest recommendation because of these two. The tea place was beautiful, we got to pick some tea leaves, and of course drink tea. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
The tour was perfect! The drivers arrived perfectly on time and spoke great english. They told us about some of the history of Indonesia and tea. The lady of the tea village was very sweet and showed how they make tea. We got to do everything ourselves too! The lunch was delicious and had a great view.
This was a very unique experience for us - away from the. Org hustle and bustle. Beautiful Hedges and with a beautiful view. Took a while to get out there but definitely worth it. Vishnu is extremely proficient in English and a very good guide. The three teas we tried, and the snacks were delicious. Two of us actually got to try the art of picking tea leaves. I will appreciate my tea much more these days. It was quite a tedious job.. I never found this, but our guy told us there was also a tour, very close to the tea location, on the making and production of batik fabric. Had I known that we would have tied the two experiences together. We also had a fantastic lunch! Highly recommend.
