We visited Borobudur and Prambanan with this agency. We also got picket up in the airport. Prior to starting the trip and getting picked up, communication was extremely clear and reliable. We left our luggage in the car and were confident that they were safe as it of course happened. During the tour, our driver/ guide Ekko was extremely nice and provided valuable insights on the country/tour/other. We would definitely recommend people to take on this tour!!
My tour manager and driver Rudi went above and beyond to make sure that my trip was safe, comfortable, and enjoyable throughout. He could speak English as well as the language of my country, so communicating was very easy. One tip I have for those interested in the one-day tour: I would highly recommend that you go for all-inclusive options. While they are more expensive, tickets and other incidental costs are all taken care of in advance, and entirely stress free. Cold water bottle were provided and the car ride was very comfortable. Of course, the temples were beautiful and definitely worth the visit. Rudi is highly recommended as well as Journeast. I’d use their service again if I’m back in Jogja!
Perfect tour to Yogyakarta temples. Our driver (Budi) was really kind and professional. All the information was clear and the car trip was pleasant. The proposed restaurant was also really good.
Wow what a fantastic trip from start to finish. The tour started at 3am, our driver was great with communication. Definitely take a long sleeve top as it’s quite chilly 1st thing. Also it’s not enforced to keep shoulders and knees covered. Having a private driver meant we could move on at our leisure. I would highly recommend this trip.
It was fantastic, in a word! We had a wonderful day. Yudi was our driver and took us everywhere. He is a great driver and very friendly; he really made our day. We had some lovely conversations with him, and he told us all sorts of things about the area.

We had a great time thanks to Jarot! We only had one day to see both Borobudur and Prambanan and he was invaluable. Everything went smoothly, Jarot drove us around and took care of everything for us. It was easy and we didn't have to wait. For lunch he took us to a small, very nice restaurant. All around, a great experience.

On the sites: Borobudur is truly incredible and going at sunrise is even more magical. Do not miss this! Prambanan was also interesting and made fora great day but if you are short on time, I see it as not essential in the way Borobudur is. On the company: Once you arrive at Borobudur, everyone registered for sunrise goes on the same tour managed by the site, so there are cheaper ways to do this. The difference with this company is that everything is set up for you. There was no need to manage any additional logistics and everything was perfect starting at pick up. That's valuable since putting together logistics can be challenging when part of a larger trip. Having a private driver also meant we could stop at Mendut and Pawon and had flexible pacing after Borobudur. The vehicle itself was also very nice and comfortable. On the staff: I was paired with Praja, who was a perfect driver and guide. He provided excellent service, flexibility, and knowledge, making the day as easy and informative as possible. I am grateful for the pairing and would absolutely hire him again and recommend him to friends and family.
