Located on the west of our island this place is home the some of the most beautiful views of our island, with craters, lakes and endles views for us to enjoy
This marks the center of the island and the second highest point where we find the most pristine lake we have and where we can find other interesting naturl and cultural atractions
One of our two villages that reside within a volcanic crater, famous for the hot springs and parks that we can visit as well as the most dense areas of volcanic activity
One of the most beautiful historic gardens of Portugal and home to one of the hot springs that we can enjoy in our island
On the older parts of the island we find great cliffs with many incredible views and smaller gardens waiting for us to visit
The oldest tea plantation and factory of Europe, come and see the 100 year old machines that still run to produce the famous tea of our island
One of the old pineapple plantations of São Miguel Island open for us to visit and walk through the productions

Mario is a fantastic person to travel around the island of Sao Miguel/ Punta Delgada. My partner and I hired him for 2 days and he exceeded our expectations. As the weather was constantly changing he was able to flex the itinerary so we got the most out of each day. Knowledgeable on a wide variety of topics related to the Azores, easy going, and a good driver, I would highly recommend him. It really made our trip even more enjoyable.
Our group of 4 adults had a wonderful experience with our guide Mario. We had great prior communication and we customized our tour based on Mario's advice for our 4 hours . Mario's knowledge in every location from history to vegetation was exceptional. I would not hesitate to hire him again or recommend him to others !
