Thank you for coming to our fantastic Da Nang. Be ready for a 1-day memorable adventure with our local expert! 7:30am: We'll pick you up from the hotel in Da Nang or Hoi An city center to visit Cham Island in our amazing trip. (As it's a private tour, the timing & itinerary can be adjusted and customized to suit your needs).
Then, we'll visit a unique local Stone Carving Village which has been passed down through centuries & delve into skilled artisans bring blocks of stone to life with intricate designs. Witnessing this artistry not only provides you insight into Vietnamese culture but also fosters appreciation for the dedication & skill of the craftsmen. By our local experts, you have the best way to interact with locals, gain a deeper understanding of what they do to preserve cultural heritage. This village is a true embodiment of Vietnamese culture, boasting an impressive array of over 600 workshops. Each of them specializes in crafting exquisite rare stone carvings, including unique Champa statues, Buddha statues, household items & high-fashioned handcrafted jewelry from precious stones. Whether observing the carving process, buying special souvenirs or simply enjoying the vibe here, we promise you a good time filled with new experiences & learning about different cultures & local knowledge.
We'll arrive at Cua Dai Port in Hoi An City to depart for Cham Island. We leave the port with the feeling of riding on the surf waves by high speed canoes at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometer per hour on a journey of 10 nautical miles in 20 minutes. There are beautiful sceneries for you to enjoy along the road to the “Cham Pearl“. Our local expert will make it an ideal day trip for you to enjoy the island's natural beauty, relax on its pristine beaches, explore its marine biodiversity through activities like snorkeling & diving, and experience a different side of the local region's culture & history.
Arriving at Cham Island, we'll visit the highlight places such as Marine Protected Area where special marine species are displayed. After that, we back in time and visit the Champa ancient well to listen to interesting stories told by our local experts. Especially, it's the place where the island locals wish and pray for love. We'll tell & explain its interesting stories, ensuring that you'll have a fantastic time with detailed insights into local history, culture & people.
Then, we'll arrive at Xep Beach to snorkeling, enjoy crystal clear blue water and various marine life with natural coral reefs & many kinds of fish. You can also choose scuba diving service (self-expense) to deep into the marine life there. During the diving time, you'll be accompanied by a professional diver to guide you through everything and to keep you safe & enjoy the ocean as much as possible. Later, fill your empty stomach with a local fishing family-style lunch with fresh seafood. Then, you'll enjoy your free time to take photos, swim, play with the wild monkeys or take the sunbathe on the beach. You can take a shower after swimming and lie in hammocks for free. 14:00-14:30: We'll leave Cham Island & get back toHoi An and Da Nang city. 15:00-15:30: We drop you off to the hotel. Our family of 4 adults had a great day out! Khai is a fantastic guide, very helpful and attentive. The weather wasn’t the best for snorkeling but we still saw corals, a variety of fish and a sea snake!
The day was great provided transfer and guide for our group of 6. Our guide Alex was very knowledgeable and made the day very enjoyable. Snorkelling was fun and the islands had a relaxed atmosphere

This was an incredible trip! Our guild, Johnny Tran, was friendly, helpful, knowledgable, and spoke great english. We learned a little about the history of the Cham people, the biodiversity of the islands, and a lot about Vietnam generally. The boat and snorkeling guild was very organized, and we had a spectacular time! The “deeper dive” was an experience of a lifetime, definitely go for it if your ears can take 15’+ of depth. Sadly, there weren't any monkeys around where we ate lunch. So Johnny even worked with the staff to find us two motorcyclists who took us to find one!! Absolutely above and beyond the call duty. Dont expect that every trip, but its just an example of the hospitality and accommodation that we experienced going to the Cham Islands. This is a must do!

If you love picturesque beaches and jetting across the bay to a snoring area, this excursion should fit you well. We were picked up from our hotel and delivered to the dock area. From there you'll be bombarded with vendors trying to sell you snorkeling gears and clothing. Don't feel too much pressure as there are also vendors on the island. 20 minute boat ride to Cham island, the boat moves pretty fast and the ocean air feels nice. I would suggest bringing a mask as the disel smell from the engine can get quite strong. Thong, our tour guide made sure we had seats located towards the back for a better view and extra leg room. (You'll want this if you haven't been on many boats before) Once on the island, you'll have time to explore some shops and a neat little exhibit featuring some sea animals. Another short boat ride (3-5 mins) will take you to almost private island where you'll have lunch and chill. The snorkeling experience will depend on the weather, we were lucky enough to have clear and calm skies. Throw on your snorkeling gear and hop on the warm waters. We saw corals, zebra fishes, eels, and even a triggerfish. Thong was nice enough to dive down and find a starfish for my kids to touch and see. Return back to the privatish island and so as you please, hammock, beach, food, sunbathe or all of the above. Throughout the whole trip, Thong made sure we knew what was happening next, clear and concise community. If you don't speak the native language, i highly recommend asking if Thong can be your guide. He spoke English very well and was able to answer questions along providing us a memorable trip. Thank you for the memories, Thong!

The guide was very very kind, give us too many helps with deep details. Additionally, English of the guide was perfect! Foods is not bad to us. The experience about seeing monkey at restaurant was new for us, so it was exciting. Snorkeling in Charm Island was good. But, I have a regret. There was a little fish. In any case, it was a great tour for my family! :)
