Pickup from hotel in Hoi An or Da Nang, drive to Marble Mountain (in Da Nang), discover the stunning Âm Phủ cave inside Marble Mountain with your local guide to learn how Vietnamese soldiers used to hide and fight in the wars. The cave was also a secret hospital to save wounded soldiers. Walk 150 steps or take the elevator to the peak of Marble Mountain. A knowledgeable guide will show you the best highlights so you don't have to spend too much energy but still see the hidden beauty that most people miss. You will admire the rustic charms of historical pagodas, Buddhist statues, and shrines, which are a few centuries old. Local believers and monks pray here often. You will learn interesting local beliefs and Buddhism.
Continue to explore Marble Mountain, and enjoy the river views and ocean breeze at various points. Visit the huge Heaven Cave, you will take in the beauty of natural limestone formations. Take pictures with rustic statues of Lady Buddha, Happy Buddha... Visit the 500-year-old Carving Village to see amazing marble sculptures made by local people at the foot of Marble Mountain.
We then drive along Da Nang coast to MONKEY MOUNTAIN (Also known as Son Tra peninsula). You'll take in amazing views of Da Nang city, Pacific Ocean, Cham islands, endless beaches, hundreds of fishing boats... You'll see common Macaque monkeys... IF LUCKY, you'll see the rare & endangered colorful red-shanked douc langur monkeys.
At half way of Monkey Mountain, we spend a short while to visit the giant Lady Buddha Statue, standing at 68 meters 233 feet tall. She smiles upon the fishing village and blesses local people while fishing in the deep sea. There are beautiful flower and bonsai gardens, and viewpoints to capture amazing snap-shots of Da Nang city and its beaches.
After spending a morning or afternoon visiting Marble Mountain, Monkey Mountain, and the Lady Buddha statue, we will have a delicious Vietnamese lunch or dinner with our local team in a nice restaurant. PLEASE NOTE: There are 2 options, please check and choose when booking: + Tour with lunch lasts 5,5 hours - at a higher price. + Tour without lunch lasts 4,5 hours - at a lower price. After a tasty meal, we will take you back to your hotel either in Hoi An or Danang or drop you off at Danang Airport.

Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, and the tour was both enjoyable and informative. A special thank you to Quynh, who was absolutely wonderful — friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. Guide from Local Buddy Tours - Nguyen (KHA) was outstanding. In all of our travels in Asian countries he was the best. Helpful, patient, informative and friendly, easy to understand his English and he had amazing amount of information about history of Vietnam. This tour was relaxed and interesting. It was only my husband and myself which also made it a more personal experience. All admissions were included and we chose the one with the meal which we both thoroughly enjoyed. There was enough for 4 people. I would recommend it for fit people only though as there are alot of steps. Areas which were not suitable for my husband the guide made sure he was sitting somewhere cool and comfortable while I explored. Amazing pictures.
Quynh was a great guide. We enjoyed her sense of humor and found her to be friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Our drivers, Linh and Phu, were both great as well. Definitely recommend the day although for the afternoon I would skip dinner because it ends up being quite early.

A great trip. Had plenty of time at all of the locations and our guide Kha was very knowledgeable of all the areas. His ability to spot the endangered monkeys is amazing. Worth the money spent
My tour to Marble Mountain, Monkey Mountain and Lady Buddha was such a great experience. The admission fees were very inexpensive. The length of each visit is truly up to you and how much time you would like to spend. The atmosphere at each attraction was energetic and enjoyable, the crowd size varys on time of day but I felt they were manageable and very cool to see different people from all over the world. Hannah was so amazing at making sure we got all the details and facts of each location. She is very detailed oriented and really keeps your attention. Quang the driver was so great at navigating all the roads and keeping us safe, he made sure to get us to and from each destination with care. He also made sure to keep us very hydrated, water was constantly offered and passed out. Thank you so much, Hoi An is rather warm at this time so it was very appreciated. Getting a true guided tour with a local was so worth it. If you are looking for a tour to take, please book with Local Buddy and request Hannah, she is fantastic!
