This tour is a full-day excursion that takes you to the ancient cities of Priene, Miletos, and Didyma. During this tour, you will explore the ruins of these ancient cities, including the Temple of Athena in Priene, the ancient theater and the Faustina Baths in Miletos, and the Temple of Apollo and its colossal columns in Didyma. You will also have the chance to learn about the fascinating history and mythology of these ancient sites from your knowledgeable guide. Pickup and drop-off services are included in the tour, and you will be picked up from your hotel in Kusadasi or Selcuk in the morning and returned in the evening after the tour.

Itinerary
Priene – Set dramatically at the foot of a sheer mountain wall, Priene overlooks the aptly named Meander River. This 2500 years old Ionian city was among the first to be planned with a grid system of streets.
Miletos – These ancient ruins lie on a hill near the Aegean Sea. Explore the ancient theater, built circa 4th century BC. The theater could accommodate over 15,000 spectators. Visit the well-preserved Bath of Faustina, named after the wife of Marcus Aurelius, who ordered their construction.
Didyma – In antiquity, Didyma was connected to Miletos by a sacred road. Visit the ruins of the Temple of Apollo, one of the largest temples from the Helenistic Period. Despite extensive construction, the temple was never fully completed.

Quite an expensive tour but well worth it if you want to see some of the classical ruins along the Turkish coast which are less visited by tourists. A surprising amount to see and we had Priene to ourselves!

A fantastic day with Cem. He was very knowledgeable about the sites we visited and gave us plenty of time to explore. The place he took us to for lunch was also amazing and we shared some lovely local food.

We start the day to Priene with our guide Adam. The first city with the grid System inventes by hipodamus. Our second stop was the City Miletus. Than we had lunch the last stop was the incredible temple of Apolon. We had very good time with our guide. On the way back we stopped by a place where we tried Turkish delight.

The second day we went with Adam to pmd as well. These 3 sites are very interesting but unfortunately not a lot of people are coming. Specially the grid system of priene was wonderfull. Miletos theater and bad complex was interesting. We ate for lunch Turkish pizza called pride that was perfect. Thanks Adam for everything

Very nice experience, the guide gave us an interesting story, and provided us with both historical and technical explanations on the different sites. In addition our guide has clear and precise English.

We chose a private tour and it was perfect. Sites were not crowdy so it was good to visit without a lot of people. It was friendly. Our guide was perfect

We had a fantastic private tour with Cemal. He was incredibly knowledgeable and had tremendous energy and enthusiasm. We booked a tour to see Priene , Miletus and Didyma. The first 2 places were beautiful, Cemal knew them very well and gave us time to explore and take photos and took us to areas the groups don't normally do. For Didyma we were told that it was under scaffolding so we could not see it, so instead Cemal organised us to see a rug-making community (with a delicious lunch!), Sirince, the Temple of Artemis and the Isabey mosque in Selcuk. All in all an experience better than we could have imagined , and we thoroughly recommend Cemal as a guide! The driver from the agency was excellent too, speedy yet safe.

Excellent tour to Priene, Miletus ruined Roman cities & Temple of Apollo complex at Didima (second largest Greek/Roman temple after Temple of Artimis at Ephesus. Lunch was provided on the tour. Excellent tor guide explained all the important aspects of all three sights. The tour company also arranged at the end of this tour to connect me outside of Kusadasi with private transport to Izmir Airport so I could catch my flight to Antalya. I highly recommend this tour and tour company…
