Calling out every person, house, and buggy as Amish wasn’t presented well. Driver stopped the van to complain about a gentleman translating for his friend. The driver has no personality at all. He drove very fast making the trip uncomfortable.
Dale was a great guide! Learned a lot and he avoided road closures due to downed trees from the storm.
This was very informative and fun.
Lisa, who did the tours is the best. Super personable really cared that we had a great experience and loved her job and it showed.
Fantastic experience. Driver was very knowledgeable in Amish culture. Took you to several stops for shopping and food. House tour was amazing. Tour guide was also very knowledgeable in the Amish history and livestyle.
The tours were great. Our bus tour guide (Lisa) was best ever. Very friendly, extremely knowledgable, and loved her job so made it enjoyable for all of us. Didnt get house tour guide name but she was very good too. This is a have to Amish tour. You will learn so much. Didn’t expect much so VERY SURPRISED!!!
The driver was kind and gave me a hard-working explanation. The atmosphere was good. He was very handy. It was a lifetime memory!
ありがとうございます!
This tour was fantastic!! I had been to PA many times but never been to the Amish areas, stores, or knew much about their practices & beliefs. This was a hot day so the air conditioned bus ride was great!! Learning about their land, gardens, cash crops, and practices was very interesting. We went to two stops/stores and wish we could have stayed longer (we did get cards to return as they’re open to the public and not just to the tours). The stop with the fresh pretzels was aaaahmazing!!! I ordered 1 and took 3 home with us. Try the honey mustard as well!! My 14yr old twin daughters also had a great time.
Thank you, so glad you enjoyed. Thanks for the recommendation!
Easy tour and very informative guide. Learned a lot and also stopped at a couple local Amish stores. The farm on site was fun to walk around and the house tour was interesting.
Thank you!
Our tour guide was outstanding with the amount of knowledge he had on the Amish. We loved seeing the country and learning about their homes, church life, etc. He even give us tips on when to drive out and see more Amish on a Sunday evening since our tour was on a Sunday morning. The house tour was interesting but more focused on modern time Amish living. The farm tour was ok, we enjoyed the scooter run and learning about how an Amish farm is run. We were given a few cards of markets/roadside stands to visit since it was Sunday. Again, we enjoyed it.
Thanks so much!
