This is a unique and comprehensive look into the Amish way of life. You'll be getting access to several farms and properties that are not available to the public or on any other tour. Your guide's knowledge of the Amish is extensive and the access you will get is the result of our personal relationships with the Amish families.

Itinerary
Stop at the farm where the Academy Award winning movie "Witness" was filmed. You will have a chance to tour the beautiful Amish farm which remains much as it was in the movie, interact with their many animals and possibly meet the wonderful Amish family who owns the farm. This is a completely private stop and not available to the public. We will stop at a private and beautiful Amish home, where the kids make birdhouses. Witness Amish craftsmanship up close in the artisan stable and barn - and purchase a birdhouse if you like.
Tour of an operating, private Amish dairy farm dating back to 1830's
We will take a driving tour through beautiful Lancaster County farmland and learn about the history, culture, religion, and education of the Amish. We will see buildings associated with the very first European settlers from more than 300 years ago, covered bridges, 19th century mills, and more on our way to our first stop.
Stop at an Amish owned and operated creamery, where your ice cream is included, and the views are free too. This is ice cream as it should be... rich, fresh, and delicious!

Dave did an excellent job of giving us very interesting details of the places we visited. It was very evident he is a natural teacher but also a careful observer of the Amish. You could tell he has great relationships with those Amish we encountered at the stops. We would heartily recommend this tour!
We didn’t know what to expect. Mr. Dale was our tour guide and was waiting on us when we showed up for the tour. He was very knowledgable and familiar with the area. He explained the history of the Amish and how they came to be in Pennsylvania. He took us to farms off the beaten path and we even had some amazing homemade ice cream! The van was clean and comfortable. This excursion was amazing and actually prompted us to stay another unplanned night to further explore the area on our multi-state trip. I would give our experience with this company 6 stars, but am limited to 5 stars. Highly recommended!

This was a small group of 7 with Moses Colon as our guide. He was very most knowledgeable and friendly. His story of the Amish lifestyle and history was very interesting. We had dinner with Lillian and Daniel at their home which was beautiful and delicious. Their 2 children were very nice. Afterwards they gave us a tour of the barn and property. It was a wonderful experience and Moses did a fantastic job. We highly recommend this intimate tour.

Our experience was better than expected. Our tour guide, Moses, was very informative and we enjoyed the conversations along our route. Our 12 year granddaughter was excited seeing all the farm animals from ducklings to cows! Also, stopping at one particular Amish Farm we were able to have a wonderful conversation with the housewife. Our tour ended with a delightful treat of ice cream. It was the 'creamiest' and best tasting ice cream I've had since my mother's homemade. Get the waffle cone!!! I have to give one more 'GREAT JOB, MOSES!" It was a pleasure getting to know you and enjoying this wonderful experience.

For my mother's 80th birthday, she didn't want a party; she wanted to see Amish Country. Moses's knowledge was truly amazing! He is a walking history book. Dale was our guide. A native of the area, he shared the history and his personal knowledge of the Amish and Mennonite communities. Everywhere we stopped he had personal relationships with farm owners and their families. At the Amish farms we visited we met the owners and their families and toured their property. One farm was a creamery and in my mind was as good of not better than the Penn State creamery.
