Port Private Douro Cruise : 6 Bridges, Sunset, Wine & Snacks

If I could give this experience 100 stars I would! My sister and I had the distinct pleasure of spending a wonderful evening with Nadia and Paolo! Their boats impeccably clean and beautifully decorated with plush blankets, luxury cushions and well kept boating apparatuses. The beautifully arranged spread of cheese, fruit, nuts, meats and crackers was such a nice touch. The wine choices are well thought out and not inexpensive, rather unique, small batch items from local wineries. Additional pairings included local savory and sweet accompaniments. All of that would have earned five stars alone, but what really sets apart this tour are the hosts: Nadia and Paolo. We felt like we spent the evening with friends, we enjoyed learning about their lives and sharing a bit about ourselves. I’m a nervous sailor and they were so kind and caring helping me place my hands and feet in places so I didn’t fall and stayed safe. Should you be lucky enough to book an evening with these fine folks you will be lucky indeed! Side note- it rained and we still felt like it was money and time well spent!

Have you ever had an experience in your life where you say to yourself, “I will remember and cherish this moment forever”? Well, this evening my husband and I had that moment. First we thought there would be up to 8 people on the sunset cruise. We found out it was only us. Nadia and Paulo own the boat and they treated us like loyalty. We laid out on the front deck in decadent comfort as they provided us with blankets, beautiful charcuterie, some historical facts about Porto, some of their own personal history ,romantic music curated so perfectly for this cruise, and they offered up an amazing sunset. What a night! There’s nothing that can possibly top the experience we had with these two wonderful hosts. Book it now. Whether as a couple or a small group, you’ll be in for a memorable experience with people that have the biggest hearts and they put every bit of their heart into their business. They are generous, thoughtful, and loving. My husband and I are on such a high! Thank you Nadia and Paolo.

This was an amazing experience, to watch the sunset while being pampered by Nadia and Pablo who made sure everything was perfect. They were wonderful hosts, gave us blankets and accommodated our dietary restrictions! Thank you both for a great memorable experience! ❤️

Highly recommend this private cruise! Lovely couple that took us on the 6 Bridges Cruise. We had multiple places to sit on the boat and warm blankets ready for us with a delicious spread of meats and cheeses plus port wine and specialty drinks. Great experience!

Best experience in Porto! An afternoon worth a life. A unique feeling, a journey through a unique and exciting experience along the river Douro. I have no way to describe what Paulo and his crew do for us throughout the journey, it is something unique... the affection, passion and their dedication are the values that awaken the basis of this experience, but still there is something magical that I cannot explain. If for me, who was born in the city of Porto and residing in Porto was something unique, I don't know how it is that a heart of who visits us will stand

The day seems promising, sun shines the city wakes up... arrival to Afurada marina quiet, no traffic and parking available. We were welcomed by Nadia with great sympathy presenting the Carbernet, beautiful boat, classic of 63 very well preserved. The historic areas of Porto and Gaia are beautiful but the visa post from Rio is almost without words! The Skipper Paulo guided the river up safely and some historical details and curiosities of the city, Nadia always pay attention to our comfort, provided port tonic and juice accompanied by delicious aperitifs. Our 2,5 year old son especially loved the part of 2 brave ducks who seem to have adopted Paul and Nadia! Morning tour proved to be the perfect choice for family walk! Thank you

One morning in April, with a fantastic sunshine, the experience was even greater, which in itself was simply incredible due to the staff of soulDouro (Nadia and Paulo), two people who are part of that river and those shores forming the true soul of the Douro. Extremely friendly, friendly giving also room to privacy and providing all possible conditions for an unforgettable morning. Thank you for everything. Since the tour is over we feel the desire to repeat, which will surely happen.

Taking a boat tour in Porto is good but doing it with almadouro.pt is so much better!! Paolo and Nadia welcomed us very warmly for a private cruise of 2 hours. The boat is very comfortable and we were served like kings: Port, white wine and charcuterie/cheese board, all while sailing under the bridges of Porto. The boat picks up at the marina of Afourada. This is a very typical area where you can eat afterwards. An incredible moment we will remember! Recommended!

We had a wonderful cruise. The crew was very hospitable, responsive and shared a lot of local knowledge about the bridges, Gaia and Porto. It was an extremely windy day but they kept us safe and warm with blankets. They made sure we enjoyed the gorgeous sunset and surprised us with their famous treat pastel del nata.

Nadia and Paulo made us extremely welcome and comfortable. We chose the 5pm cruise to watch the sunset, the river, bridges and views of Porto are stunning, Nadia’s knowledge of Porto was very impressive. We were provided with blankets, port drinks and charcuterie boards it was amazing. They are exceptional hosts and attention to detail was second to none, thank you both so much and for taking photos for us too it is an experience we will never forget. We were a party of four girls ages 29, 38, 44 and 70 and all of us highly recommend this trip.
