It was a great tour! The tour guide was very kind and funny. He gave us time to explore each spot. His meeting spot is on the street, so if you get there early, just wait and keep an eye out.
We had a great tuk-tuk tour, Tomas is very knowledgeable about his island and it shows on the tour. I even asked him where to purchase nice souvenirs, he sent me a list..including restaurants. What a gem! Thanks again.
This was a great way to see all of Punta Delgada. We loved being able to stop at the spots where our kids wanted to explore (mainly wherever animals were involved).
Wonderful tour of Ponta Delgada, well beyond the downtown area along the coastline. Tomás is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, informative and truly aims in all ways to give you a great experience. This tour is really worth your time and money, don’t pass on the opportunity to experience this ride and Tomás’ warm Azorean hospitality!!
Tomas holds the only official Tuk-Tuk license on the entire islandd. Thomas is a great guide with a lot of knowledge about the island history, its past, and its present-day life, and shares it all in the most engaging way. He is incredibly welcoming, friendly, and with positive energy, highly recommended!
We thoroughly enjoyed our tuk tuk tour. Tomas was very knowledgeable about his city and island. Tomas was funny, I felt like I was a part of his family. I asked questions, where to buy certain clothes, jewelry, eating. Tomas said he was going to send me a message about all that I asked. I was a little skeptical..low and behold, message received. Tomas detailed everything for me. His family have done a great job raising him. Amazing tour!! Would do again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time on this tour. Tomas is extremely knowledgeable and he has a sense of humour. It was a great way to learn about Ponta Delgada.
Great introduction to the city on our first day after a long flight. The visit to the pineapple plantation was great. Guide was knowledgable and very friendly.
Thomas was a pleasant guide and knowledgeable about the points of interest he took me to. I’m only giving 3 stars because the price for this 2-3 hour tour was far mote than the 8-hour, very indepth and vastly more interesting than the simple Tuk Tuk. I feel between the 2, the 8 hour tour was by far the better value!. But… loved Tomas’s effort for such a young person. Unfortunately, for $90+ I cannot refer him.
Tomas did a great job of driving and tour guiding at the same time! His love of the Azores shines through in his narration and in his choice of sites to see. We also appreciated the care he took with both driving and parking the Tuktuk. It was very pleasant to be outdoors and not be confined to a car. Thanks for a safe and enjoyable tour!
