We enjoyed our day. It was (of course!) hot and busy at the site. Our guide did a great job navigating a group of 23 folks around the site. The hotel meeting point was easy to find from the metro and the van was air conditioned.
Frankie was very informative and fun. Made all of us laugh and had us in the shade which was much needed.
Alexandra was the perfect guide. Her knowledge and English were perfect. This was our most favorite tour (we did 17 tours in total) during our entire trip.
Angelo was a great guide of the city. Meeting point was easy to find on Google Maps and transportation to and from the city was in nice small vans. Would do again with the same company.
From start to finish, everything was great. Angelo picked us up, the ride from Naples to Pompeii was pleasant and pretty. Our guide, Frankie was wonderful. He clearly enjoys what he does and loves Pompeii and sharing it with people. He was funny and very engaging as he told stories of the once great city, its systems, homes, and shops, it’s destruction and ultimate preservation by the very same material that destroyed it. It was fascinating and a thoroughly enjoyable time for my family.
Very happy with the tour. Guide was very knowledgeable! We had a group of 12 but could always hear the guide and he engaged with us all throughout the tour.
As a solo traveller, small-group tours like this makes my life much easier. I was very lucky to go on this tour with a lovely family of three from the United States, making it almost feel like a private tour. The driver is friendly and funny, so is our guide Frankie. Frankie orchestrated the tour very well, he helped paint a picture of the public and private life of the Romans while providing interesting details along the way. Highly recommend visiting Pompeii in the afternoon to avoid the crowds and enjoy the sea breeze.
The tour was arranged perfectly. It was a small group of 7 people today. Anna was very friendly and informative. She tried to let us stay in the shade as much as possible. I enjoyed listening to her introducing some important sites and their background. Highly recommended.
Frankie was amazing. I enjoyed every bit of this tour. On a hot day, Frankie kept us in the shade as much as possible and it was very enjoyable!!
Pompei itself is very interesting and much bigger than I expected. Our guide Frankie was great. He made the history come alive and was very engaged in all aspects of the tour. We appreciated his sense of humor. Mamma Mia!
