This all-day excursion takes you for a breathtaking drive along the Amalfi Coast to the picturesque hillside town of Positano (with 1 hour free time to explore on your own), then to serene Sorrento (where you'll have 1 hour free time to explore on your own), and before going back to Naples' port to the evocative ruins of Pompeii for a two-hour guided tour before returning to your ship.

Last stop: Pompeii. Pompeii is the most stunning archaeological site on the Italian Peninsula and one of the most visited. The ruins of Pompeii are an open air museum where visitors can go back in time and discover a city that had been buried in ashes until 1748. Visitors experience the city much as it existed more than 2000 years ago.
Second stop on the tour will be Sorrento (with 1 hour free time to explore on your own). Removed to the south of the upbeat urban tempos of Naples extends the Peninsula of Sorrento. This is a land where the scent of citrus fills the air and where grape vines follow the steep terrain to the edge of the sea. Breathtaking views of Mount Vesuvius and the island of Capri await you behind every bend in the road that leads you along this spectacular coast.
First stop on this trip will be Positano (with 1 hour free time to explore on your own). Positano, the most picturesque town of the Amalfi Coast resembles a waterfall cascading down to the sea. Visitors descend narrow pathways, perusing artisan workshops offering ceramics, fabled lemon products, and the distinct local style of dress.

Our family had an excellent experience on this tour. We were able to maximize our day at port with 3 different locations, and see everything we wanted. Our guide Mary was very knowledgeable and personable. She made sure everyone on the tour was informed and comfortable. The van used for transport was very nice and comfortable, making the traveling much more enjoyable.

Was a great tour of almafi coast. It’s impossible to see it all in just a few hours but I felt like we got a good taste of it. Our tour guide was great and our bus driver was a hero navigating those tiny narrow streets. Wish we had more time in all the stops but like I said, can’t see it all in such a short time frame (we were on a cruise and had a set time we needed to be back). Would recommend this tour, good for families with older kids too. Will definitely be back!
Polly and Rafi were amazing! Rafi navigated the difficult roads like an F1 driver and even sang a beautiful song to us. Polly knew everything about the different stops and where to go at each stop. It was an amazing day and would highly recommend to everyone!

My husband and I really enjoyed the tour with Paola. She was an energetic, enthusiastic and professional guide who knew exactly when to talk, and when to give the clients quiet time. Paola was gracious and polite, yet firm when she needed to be. We learned a lot and she was entertaining in the process. Marco was a very professional driver.. We felt very safe in the van, especially given that some motorcycle drivers were weaving very dangerously on the road around our vehicle while we were en route to Positano and then back to Sorrento. It was wonderful. I wish we had slightly more time at Pompeii, but I know you can only fit so much into 8 hours. I would recommend your company and our guide/driver to anyone who only had one day in the Naples area and wanted to maximize their limited time. Highly Recommend Mondo Guide!! It was a long tour of three beautiful and interesting places. The tour of Pompeii requires good strong footwear as there is a lot of walking on uneven stones and steps. The ride through the Amalfi coast was breathtaking. The stop in Positano could have been longer. We ate at a lovely restaurant in Sorrento recommended by our wonderful tour guide Ciro. The food was delicious!
Great option for those who have little time in Naples. The driver and guide were very good and very helpful throughout the day.
