Excellent tour with a very knowledgeable archeologist!

We visited Pompeii during Covid in May 2021. This made it a very special experience as there were literally only a handful of people in the entire site. Because of this our group tour turned into a private tour. We very much appreciated that the tour operator didn’t cancel our tour. Riccardo, a local archeologist, was our tour guide. He was excellent - enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. You could tell that he was very passionate about Pompeii, which made the experience that much more enjoyable. Highly recommended to do this tour while visiting in Pompeii! It adds so much more to the visit to hear about how life was back then.
