Experience a 2-hour tour of the ancient ruins of Pompeii led by a professional archaeologist guide and skip the line tickets included in a small group of maximum 20 people. Walk through the ruins and explore this ancient city, buried by Vesuvius in 79 AD. Learn about the history of the town and how the Romans lived and see all the most important public buildings and private houses. Visit the Western part of the town. You will see the Marina Gate, the Basilica, the Forum, the baths, the Lupanar (brothel), the bakery, the house of Faun, the Termopolium, the main street, the Plaster Casts of the dead's, and the Theaters. The tour is available in English, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese and German and starts at the main entrance of Pompeii Ruins, called Porta Marina Superiore.

It was so hot out, like incredibly hot, but our tour guide did an extremely commendable job keeping us moving. It was lifelong dream to see Pompeii, I'd recommened this to anyone & everyone!

The tour was incredibly educational and amazing! The two-hour tour doesn’t hit every major landmark but it was a very good introduction to the site! Our tour guide, Marilyn, had an impressive knowledge of ancient Pompeii; she was very funny and answered any questioned asked to her. I would highly recommend this tour, and specifically Marilyn as a tour guide, for a tour!

Seeing the ruins and all of the architecture was amazing. However- our guide was very hard to understand. I’m sure he was sharing a lot about the excavations and what we were seeing but honestly it was so hard to understand him.
Tour was great! Our guide was so knowledgeable and actually worked on an excavation team as well. Definitely bring a water bottle (you can fill up inside too) and wear your sun protection. I went in July and it is hot and sunny!
Giulia from Askos Tours was amazing in her ability to share an incredible amount of information in an easy to understand manner. Giulia was also very humorous and her knowledge of history was impressive. In a group of 20 people, she kept a good pace while always looking for any shade possible on a hot summer day.
