Pance Waterfalls: Hike to discover the biodiversity of the valley
Description
The Farallones de Cali hold secrets in their mountains, forests and nature. Step by step we will listen to them as we ascend to discover two waterfalls in the middle of the forest. The natural wealth of these mountains, the river and the landscapes make this experience a special moment to enjoy forever every time you remember it. During the tour we will be lucky enough to be in different ecosystems, we will be in a quiet, safe environment full of nature, you will learn about the great biodiversity of the Cauca Valley.

Itinerary
We will walk through this small village before starting our walk. We will make a stop for travelers to buy the items they need to go on the tour or to drink a coffee.
We'll hike up into the mountains that surround Pance River to discover 3 waterfalls and several puddles. During the hike we'll take our time to make stops so we all can enjoy the views of Cali and the valley, the river and each place we visit.
We'll take our delicious and traditional colombian lunch in tis lovely restaurant, that allows views to the river and nice enviroment to rest after the hike.

Nice easy walk, beautiful experience.
Honestly, I don’t think I can put into words how amazing this tour was. From pick up, to the hike to the waterfalls, swimming and dipping there and getting to know more about the heritage and history of the Pance rivers and people, to the lunch and drop off! Extra shout out to Julian the tour guide, who was engaging and eager to tell you everything. I had the gift of doing this tour with the two of us and he made sure that the experience was safe and fun at the same time. Also the driver Luis was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend booking this tour!

I am not even sure I can describe my experience in words... but I will try! Armando and Julian were amazing guides and I am so happy and lucky to have these two as my guides. Armando picked me up as agreed and on our way to the destination he told me so much about Cali and different places in the city, which was great, as I have never been to Cali before. He was friendly, and very attentive - as he wanted to know my interests and likings, so his narrative fitted perfectly and was both informative and very useful for me. All the way to our destination we were chatting like best friends, as if we knew each other for ever. Then I met Julian and we started the hike. Julian was amazing! We connected instantly for the love of nature and adventure. The hike was of moderate intensity - we crossed streams and followed ragged terrain, making stops on our way. The waterfalls were breathtaking. Julian is very passionate about the nature of his country and for me it felt like a privilege to be on a hike guided by him. After the hike I enjoyed a well deserved lunch of sancocho, which was delicious. If you are a nature lover like I am this trip is a MUST - you won't regret it!

The trip was challenging and fun! The views of the Valle de Cauca and Pico de Loro magnificent and the two waterfalls were a reward for the efforts.

Good getaway and good exercise 🤣, Julian was a lovely guide, he would definitely repeat the experience. I learned that the right footwear for this type of hiking is really important as it is a great help during walking. The driver was also very kind to us. Everything was great ☺️

What a great and personalized experience. From the time we were picked up to the time we hiked up and down through the forest to the waterfalls. Our driver Armando and guide Julian were the best, so caring and attentive. Definitely a must do.

My wife and I, being frequent visitors to Cali always call on Valley Adventours, for an “Adventure”. This time we went on the Pance river trip, guided by the excellent Juan Daniel. The trip is not for the faint hearted but even us 70 year olds made it through. Juan was very helpful in guiding us through and sharing with us his abundant knowledge of the flora and fauna of the area as well as its history. The beautiful majesty of the surrounding mountains combined with the lush forest provided for great memories. All in all a wonderful experience.
