I have been choosing amongst many other trips on offer and have picked this particular tour because it had Russian language listed. I did it for my 80-year old mum that I organised this trip for. Unfortunately, there were no Russian language guide or audio in either of the Castles. In one of the we were handed a poorly translated (as it was done 10 years ago when first google translate was introduced) few lines of some general knowledge, perhaps 10 per cent of what was told by a Guide so I had to translate everything to mum. This deliberate lie - the Russian language was confirmed and promissed before the payment took place - really spoilt the impression. Its a shame as Dmitry, out guide was excellent - knowledgeable and attentive, bus - new and clean and driver - polite and professional. So the company that mislead us gets “poor” rating while the Guide (Dmitry), bus and driver all were superb.
The guidelines was very good and we had enough time for visitors.
A great way to see Ludwig's castles in a day from Munich. Takes out all the hassle so you can focus on enjoying these marvellous pieces of architecture. Only complaint is that we didn't have more time at Linderhof as I would've liked to have seen the Grotto. Also, be aware that there is no time to tour Hohenschwangau either. Our guide Jay did a fantastic job explaining the history and was always willing to help or answer questions.
Thank you very much for your detailed review! We are delighted that you enjoyed discovering King Ludwig II’s castles and appreciated the convenience of having the day organized for you. As the itinerary covers several highlights within one day, the time at each location is carefully scheduled, and unfortunately it is not possible to include every attraction in the area. We certainly understand wishing for more time at beautiful Linderhof. It is especially great to hear that Jay’s historical insights and helpful guidance added so much to your experience, and we will gladly pass your compliments on to him!
Wonderful day. Visited 2 castles. Eva our guide, was a great guide, available at every stop, knowledgeable, helpful and informative. The day is long. There is a lot of walking , but the views are beautiful and breathtaking. The castle tours informative and interesting.

What a wonderful tour! Our guide Monika and driver Andy were great! Very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. I just wish we had more time in the town we stopped in. Beautiful!
Thank you very much for your wonderful review! We are delighted that you enjoyed the tour and appreciated Monika’s knowledgeable guidance and Andy’s great service throughout the day. We completely understand wishing for a little more time in beautiful Oberammergau — there is certainly plenty to discover! We will gladly pass your kind words on to Monika and Andy.
Favina was our guide on this trip. Mr. Cinda was our driver. Both of them were so very polite and helpful. Favina is extremely knowledgeable and seemed to love answering our questions. They were both very patient and kind to all of us.

Travelers should be aware that visiting Neuschwanstein in the first half of August means dealing with very heavy mass tourism. This is not a problem specific to this tour, but rather to the destination itself at this time of year. Regarding this particular tour, what I found disappointing was the handling of the castle entrance fees. We were charged €42 per person for the tickets to both castles, while the tickets we received showed that the actual cost to the tour operator was €30 per person: €10 for Linderhof and €20 for Neuschwanstein. A €12 per person margin just for managing the tickets feels excessive and, in my opinion, should be made clearer in advance.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We understand that the high visitor numbers at Neuschwanstein during the peak summer season can affect the overall experience, although this is unfortunately beyond our control. Regarding the castle admissions, we would like to clarify that the difference between the face value printed on the tickets and the amount charged is primarily due to the mandatory reservation fees imposed on us by the castle administration for securing the required timed group admissions in advance. It is therefore not simply a margin added by the tour operator. We understand that the different amounts shown on the admission tickets can cause confusion and appreciate the opportunity to clarify this point. We are nevertheless glad that you found the castles themselves beautiful and hope they remain a memorable part of your visit to Bavaria.
Overall it was good. However, it is suggested that we should get more information about the time limitation of going onto the bridge to view the whole castle.
Thank you for your feedback! We are glad that you enjoyed the tour overall. We appreciate your suggestion regarding clearer information about the time needed to visit Marienbrücke and enjoy the famous view of Neuschwanstein Castle. Especially during busy periods, waiting times and access to the bridge can vary considerably, so good time planning is important. Thank you for bringing this point to our attention.
Jennifer helped everyone wonderfully with needed information, historical facts, and guiding the pack to all the gorgeous places around Lindenholf and Neuschwanstein castles. Ample time to cover all of them, including a small hike, it's a personal hiking effort though and not by the tour guide, not easy though, but the views of the Neuschwanstein castle with lake around is worth it. It is tough though, to bear in mind. If not the hike, highly recommended for the castle tours.
Thank you very much for your detailed review and recommendation! We are delighted that Jennifer took such good care of everyone and enriched the day with helpful information and historical insights. You are absolutely right that exploring the area around Neuschwanstein can involve some demanding walking, but the spectacular views certainly make the effort worthwhile for those who choose to do it. We will gladly pass your kind words on to Jennifer!
