Negril Tour from Montego Bay – Seven Mile Beach & Rick’s Café

Nigel took my daughter and I to Negril and the trip was amazing. Nigel is so kind and provided us so much fun information about Jamaica. Would absolutely recommend him for a trip! Looking forward to our next one!

Nigel was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He told us so many interesting facts and had good conversation the whole trip. It was very evident that he was a respected member of the community that he brought us into and he made me and my mother feel super safe and looked after. He was safe driver and got us to and from Negril! I would highly recommend for any trip you are taking anywhere in Jamaica!

We had an absolutely fantastic private tour with Nigel from Mighten Tours during our stay at the Grand Palladium. From start to finish, the whole day was perfectly organised and tailored to us. Nigel picked us up from the hotel and took us for delicious Jamaican patties before a quick stop in Port Charlotte, sharing lots of local knowledge and interesting facts along the way. We then headed to Negril where we spent a few relaxing hours at Tree Tops — an absolutely stunning beach and one of the highlights of our trip. The snorkelling trip with Terry Tours was amazing, with beautiful clear water, lots of marine life, and we even saw a turtle 🐢 which made the experience extra special! We finished the day at Rick’s Cafe, which was the perfect end to an unforgettable experience. Nigel was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and genuinely great company throughout the day. Nothing felt rushed and he made sure we had the best possible experience. We would highly recommend Mighten Tours to anyone visiting Jamaica — truly one of the best days of our holiday!

The shuttle service to Negril 7 Mile Beach & Rick’s Cafe was excellent from start to finish. Nigel arrived on time around 10:30 am, which is always appreciated, and his driving was very good, even considering that some parts of the road are still a little damaged by the passage of the hurricane (they are not big damage just a few bumps) During the journey we made a quick stop recommended by Nigel to try local food, we tried the famous Jamaican Patty which was delicious and totally worth it. Upon arriving at 7 Mile Beach Nigel made sure we had enough time to enjoy ourselves without feeling rushed. In addition, he suggested a suitable time to leave for our next destination, but always gave us the option to decide the time that we saw fit. Our next stop took us to Rick’s Cafe, where he was again very patient and waited without pressuring us at any time. He said the return would be after sunset, my wife and I stopped a little longer but still he waited for us and at no time rushed us. On the way back, he had the detail of asking us if we wanted to stop to buy something to eat, we made a quick stop and then he took us back to our hotel. Overall, it was a very safe, comfortable and well organized trip. We returned around 8:30 pm without any inconvenience. Definitely a highly recommended experience.

Nigel took us on a tour to 7 Mile Beach and Rick’s Cafe in Negril, Jamaica. He arrived on time and handled very well despite how difficult the road was. Along the way we stopped at Juici Patties, which is definitely a “must try”; they were delicious. We had enough time to enjoy the beach, and he himself suggested we stay longer where we wanted, either on the beach or in the cafe. Back, he was also very attentive and asked if we wanted to stop to buy something to eat. The trip took approximately 10 hours. I stop by at about 10:30 and we arrive at the beach in Negril at about 1:00pm. From the cafe we left at about 6:40pm to get to Montego Bay at about 8:30pm. Overall, he was a very good driver: friendly, professional and considerate. Recommended!

We took an all-day tour with Nigel through Montego Bay, hip strip, Fort Charlotte, Seven Mile Beach, and Rick’s Cafe and overall the experience was excellent! Nigel is a phenomenal tour guide! He is very knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, professional, and funny! We learned a lot about Jamaica’s history and culture during our tour, which we really appreciated. We are also grateful that Nigel was very accommodating with our request to speak more slowly during the tour so that our parents could more easily keep up with the conversation, since my parents speak Russian and English is their second language. We plan on taking more excursions with Nigel Mighten’s tour company in the future when we visit Jamaica again and highly recommend this tour agency to other travelers!

This trip was a wonderful experience for seeing the west coast of Jamaica. While the countryside was gorgeous and we saw many beautiful things, it was our tour driver that made it SUPERB. We traveled with mom and Nigel made it perfect for all three of us. He showed us the fort, but also knew the best picture spots. He got us juici burgers and mom always had a cool place to rest. He made the whole day special, even videotaped our cliff diving at Rick's. He KNOWS his stuff!!
