The key stops include the Wallace Monument for views and history, the historic Old Town and Stirling Bridge, and a final stop at Cambuskenneth Abbey. Difficulty: Medium, with significant hills. E-bikes are highly recommended for those not accustomed to regular cycling to manage the inclines. Included: Bike, helmet, and a qualified guide. Stops and sights: Stirling Castle: A major highlight, explore the majestic castle and its grounds. Stirling Old Town and Bridge: Cycle through the historic cobbled streets and pass the site of the Battle of Stirling Bridge, where history was made. The Wallace Monument: Visit this iconic landmark, learn about the story of William Wallace, and enjoy panoramic views from its viewpoint. Cambuskenneth Abbey: Begin at this ancient and tranquil ruin, the resting place of King James III.

Will claim through the old historic city to Stirling Castle famous for being a central hub of royal power, a key fortress during the Wars of Scottish Independence, and the childhood home of Mary, Queen of Scots. It is one of Scotland's grandest castles, with significant historical and architectural importance, housing impressive buildings like the Great Hall and the Royal Palace.
The second stop will be at the StStirling Old Bridge a stone bridge which crosses the River Forth. For over 300 years it provided the lowest crossing point of the Forth and so had strategic importance.
Will continue over the Forth River to the Wallace Monument and will conquer the 246-step spiral staircase and explore The Hall of Arms, The Hall of Heroes and The Royal Chamber to discover the remarkable story of Sir William Wallace. Once you reach the top of the 220ft tower, experience breathtaking views in all directions from The Crown.
Will continue to Cambuskenneth Abbey built in the 1200s, and much of the surviving structure dates from then. The abbey church, of which only the doorway survives, was laid out in a cross shape.
