Such a great historical tour. We loved it. Especially since we are descendants of Robert the Bruce! Our guide was so informative and kind to my 87 year old uncle. It was his dream to see Sterling and it certainly satisfied!! Highly Recommend !!
Our guide Beth was lovely and knowledgeable and helpful, but the castle and the town wasn’t what we expected. I am not sure it’s worth the trip
We had a great experience with Walking Tours in Stirling on a private tour of the Old Town and Stirling Castle. Our guide, Diane, was extremely knowledgeable and clearly has a genuine interest in the history she shared with us. She delivered everything through storytelling, which made the tour easy to follow. You expect the castle itself to be impressive, and it is, but what really surprised me was the insight Diane provided about the town. As a local, she has a real connection to the history and brings a perspective you wouldn’t get on your own. It made the whole experience feel much more personal. Overall this was a very enjoyable tour and a great way to experience Stirling’s history beyond just the main sights. As we head back to Florida… we will bring Stirling memories.
Simply fantastic. She knew her stuff and was a delight to learn from. Very generous with her time, too.
The weather made the climb on the cobble Street a little stressful and difficult. I enjoyed seeing the town of Stirling.
Well worth your time. In 3 hours you learn the highlights of the significant historical sites of Stirlings Old Towne and then breeze into the castle and have a personal guide in the castle. Much better than wandering around not really knowing what you are seeing.
We had an amazing time in sterling on our private tour with Georgia she was a fabulous tour guide! I’m so glad we had this experience. She was very knowledgeable about the city and the castle. We were blessed she was our guide. 10 out of 10 Stars.
Very thorough tour and experience of old town Stirling and the Stirling castle……you will enjoy the low key vibe of Stirling!!!!!…and it’s an easy train ride from Edinburgh.
Well worth the money! Georgia was our guide and she altered the pace for us (70 yrs old) and was incredibly knowledgeable on the history of Stirling. We learned a great deal that a guide book would. not show us. Well worth the money!
Very friendly guide with good knowledge of Stirling, the castle and Scot history. Walked us through the castle allowing us to take time to absorb it all.
