Itinerary
Your small-group shore adventure starts with an easy pickup right at the Mykonos Port gate. A warm and welcoming local driver-guide will be there to meet you, and you’ll hop aboard a modern, air-conditioned minibus (holding up to 18 passengers). Your journey begins with a scenic drive that highlights the island’s breathtaking natural beauty. (Please red the disclaimer, the tour may begin with either the walking or panoramic driving portion depending on traffic, port conditions, weather, or local events)
Take in a picturesque drive to Armenistis Lighthouse, located on the northern edge of Mykonos. As you travel, your guide will pause at select viewpoints so you can admire the sweeping scenery and snap photos of the Aegean coastline. Once at the lighthouse, you'll enjoy breathtaking vistas of Delos, Rhenia, and Tinos — an ideal spot for unforgettable photos.
Tucked away in the heart of the island, Ano Mera is a picturesque Cycladic village that provides a serene escape from Mykonos’ bustling beach scene. Featuring classic whitewashed architecture, a historic monastery, and cozy local tavernas, it’s one of the rare spots where you can truly connect with the island’s traditional charm and heritage.
Pause for a while at Kalafati Beach — a serene escape from Mykonos’ busier shores. Known for its clear turquoise waters and calm atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to take photos or simply relax and enjoy the refreshing sea breeze.
The second part of your tour begins upon arrival in Mykonos Town, where a knowledgeable local guide will accompany you on a leisurely walking tour through its charming, whitewashed streets and famous landmarks. Wander through narrow lanes lined with traditional cube-shaped homes, vibrant doors, and blooming bougainvillea, all creating a picture-perfect atmosphere. As you explore on foot, you'll discover the enduring beauty and heritage of this former Cycladic fishing village. Please note that Mykonos Town is pedestrian-only, so we kindly ask all guests to consider their walking ability before booking.
The iconic 16th-century windmills, set along the shoreline, are among the most recognizable landmarks of Mykonos. Originally built by the Venetians, they once played a key role in the island’s grain production and commerce. PLEASE NOTE: This stop is optional and may be omitted depending on mobility limitations or crowded conditions.
Take a leisurely walk through Little Venice, a charming waterfront neighborhood known for its vibrant 18th-century houses now hosting lively cafés and boutique shops. With stunning views of the sea and the nearby windmills, this picture-perfect spot is ideal for capturing photos and soaking up the unique character of the island.
Marvel at one of the most iconic and photographed churches in Greece, celebrated for its unique asymmetrical shape and striking blend of Cycladic and Byzantine architectural styles. Situated near the entrance of Mykonos’ old town, this historic gem is a must-visit for its cultural significance and stunning visual charm.

We had to change our dates and the administrative person was very helpful. They also did a good job on making sure we met up with the guides. The guides were excellent, very pleasant and well informed.
First time visiting. Mykonos, more than Mythology, it’s a unique place to have a vacation time. An historical place full of History for mankind…!!
It was very difficult to find the guide; confusing; I went to three different vans mistakenly. Very frustrating considering that the weather was very hot.
Dear Jeannie, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you had difficulty locating the guide at the meeting point. For all our tours, detailed meeting instructions including exact location details and local contact numbers are sent several days in advance, and we always recommend checking these carefully before departure. In case of any difficulty on the day of the tour, we strongly encourage guests to call the provided contact number immediately so our team can assist in real time. We appreciate your comment and will continue working to improve clarity and communication for future guests. Kind regards, The Vexperio Team
The driver on the mini bus tour was great and we really enjoyed all the knowledge he shared. The walking tour guide was very hard to understand when he did stop and talk. We didn’t enjoy this part of the tour at all. Would have liked more information with a someone that spoke better English.
Dear Laura, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re very pleased to hear that you enjoyed the minibus tour and appreciated the knowledge and insights shared by your driver. At the same time, we’re sorry to learn that the walking tour portion did not meet your expectations. We understand how important clear communication is to the overall experience, and we regret that you had difficulty understanding the guide during the walking tour. Your comments are valuable to us, and we will review this feedback with our local team and guide to better understand what happened and identify any areas for improvement. Enjoyed our tour in Mykonos! Wish the walking tour would have been first and the driving part second due to the crowds and the heat. We saw a lot and Marina was as great!
Our tour guides were wonderful. I learned so much about the history. They were very good. Enjoyed it so much. Highly recommended.
Excellent day exploring Mykonos Town and the whole island! Our guides Marina and Nikoka were terrific and so informative! Marina took us to the oldest bakery on the island-it was amazing!! Everything about the day was perfect!
Wonderful tour! From the bus tour of the lighthouse to our wonderful tour guide in the walking tour. We enjoyed George so much and had the most wonderful meal of our trip
The walking tour section was excellent. Earlier in the morning so the streets of Mykonos town were quiet, we could explore with ease. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and very easy to understand. The bus tour guide was also excellent, very personable and informative but we felt that the stops were too short and therefore lacked any real purpose. It would have been nice to skip one of the stops and have longer at one of the others and have a short amount of free time to explore, grab a drink or something.
Dear Tracy, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re really pleased you enjoyed the experience overall and will also take your comments about the bus stops on board for future improvements. We hope to see you again on another tour. Kind regards, Natalia Vexperio
We were rushed through our two hour walking tour. Never got a chance to shop or get anything to eat. We know that lunch wasnot included, but there was no time to even get anything before we were rushed to the driving tour which was supposed to be first. We didn’t want to get in the van for another two hours without any food and then we wouldn’t have any time to shop when we got back and needed to get to the boat. We only did half the tour and then we left. The company offered to give us a partial refund if we take our review down. But we don’t want anyone else to get duped.
Dear Guests, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are genuinely sorry to hear that you felt rushed and were unable to enjoy your time in Mykonos in the way you had hoped. We understand how disappointing it can be to feel that there wasn't enough time to explore, shop, or grab a bite to eat during your visit. While we understand this may not have aligned with the type of visit you were hoping for, our excursion is designed specifically for cruise ship passengers and follows a carefully timed itinerary intended to showcase several of Mykonos' highlights while ensuring guests return to their ship comfortably and on time. The tour does not include dedicated free time for shopping or meal stops, and the order of the walking and driving portions may occasionally change based on local conditions on the day. We also want to clarify that the partial refund offered was extended solely as a gesture of goodwill in response to your disappointment with the experience. We respect every guest's right to share their honest feedback, and the offer was not conditional upon removing or changing your review. We appreciate your feedback and thank you for giving us the opportunity to be part of your visit to Mykonos. We wish you all the best in your future travels. Kind regards, Zuzanna Vexperio
