The Eagle’s Nest, or Kehlsteinhaus, was built between 1937 and 1938 as a gift for Hitler’s 50th birthday. Perched on a narrow rocky ridge at 1,834 meters, it’s an incredible feat of engineering with breathtaking views over the Bavarian Alps near Berchtesgaden. Your private English-speaking driver will take you to the parking area, where a special bus navigates the steep, 6.5 km road carved into the mountainside, climbing 700 meters in just 15 minutes. From there, you’ll walk through a marble-lined tunnel before taking a historic brass elevator up another 124 meters to the summit. At the top, you can explore the interior of this infamous retreat, enjoy a meal at the restaurant, and take in the stunning panoramic views of the surrounding Alps.
Salzburg, often called the 'Pearl of Austria,' is best known as the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Nestled along the Salzach River and surrounded by stunning alpine landscapes, the city is crowned by the impressive Hohensalzburg Fortress, which sits high on Mönchsberg mountain. We enjoyed this tour to Salzburg. Unfortunately, due to the weather conditions the trip to Eagle’s Nest was cancelled (very quick to offer refund). Islam, our guide quickly changed plans to visit other sites (Modensee) and allowed us to go to places we wanted to see (Red Bull world). He was very friendly and knowledgeable. A very safe driver. The scenery of the Austrian Alps are spectacular.

Petr was good with a long day of driving. He knew a great place to stop for rural pics near the Eagles Nest, so it broke up the morning drive. He found us a fantastic Biergarten in Salzburg for lunch, and walked us to the Fortress. We were exhausted when we got out, and we had a smooth ride back to Munich. Very well done.

Frank was waiting on us at the airport. His ride was super comfortable and clean. His English was very clear. His appearance and demeanor were 5 star professional the entire trip.
