This tour will provide you with a special and unforgettable golf experience at Susono Country Club, which is located next to Mt. Fuji! If this is your first time playing golf in Japan, you will probably not know how to use the automatic carts that are unique to Japanese golf courses, and you will be confused by the unique rules on the course field. But please don't worry about those things! We will guide you from the beginning to the end of this trip. This tour fee also includes rental of club sets, shoes, gloves, etc., which are usually paid options. If too late booking, the golf course may be fully booked. The golf course we will take you to is "Susono Country Club", which is located in eastern Shizuoka Prefecture and is one of the closest golf courses to Mt. Fuji. "Susono" means "the foot of Mt. Fuji", and you can see Mt. Fuji up close from most holes. This course is a members' course with such tradition and prestige that a professional golf tournament called "Fancl Classic" is held every year, and usually we cannot play without members. We have a special partnership with Susono Country Club, so we can provide you with a special golf experience. Green fees and major rental items fees (set of golf clubs, shoes, gloves) are included in the tour fee. If you use your own gear, we cannot discount rental items you do not need. Two days ago I noticed that the pickup location and time for pickup wasn’t very clear, so I reached out to the activity provider through the app as well as email directly. They never got back to me. I also saw a couple bad reviews so I got very nervous and reached out to Viator. They tried their best to contact the activity provider and also heard nothing back. We ended up not doing the tour and requesting a refund. Very disappointed, I didn’t have enough time to book another golf tour, so I never was able to do the experience (I leave tomorrow).
Waited almost 2 hours and nobody showed up to pick us up. Wasted day. No communication from the tour operator.
Our guide never showed up at our hotel or communicated after we waited one hour after our 7 am pickup time.
I gave this gift to my parents and they had an unforgettable day. The guide spoke English and was adorable, the course is beautiful and everything was perfect!
Masa was very communicative throughout the trip and was joyful to be around. He handled everything to clubs, driving to course and back, etc. and made the experience easy for me and my family. I highly recommend this experience and Masa.
