Ten thousand years ago, a spectacular eruption of Mount Fuji created this stunning picture of lake and mountain. In 2013, Lake Kawaguchi was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the Fujisan Cultural Site. Stroll along its shores with Mt. Fuji in the background, a serene and awe-inspiring atmosphere, and enjoy the beautiful reflection of Mt. Fuji in the clear water.

Oishi Park, nature's palette, is famous for its vibrant seasonal flower displays. On the west side of the park, the "350-meter-long Flowers Road" features a colorful array of blooms throughout the year. From cherry blossoms in spring to lavender in summer, and from vibrant autumn leaves to the soft snow and reeds of winter, the seasons change, and the scenery is breathtaking. You can capture beautiful photos with Lake Kawaguchi, seasonal flowers, and the majestic Mt. Fuji in the background.

Be ready with a lot of camera storage for photos! 😁

We had an amazing time traveling with our tour guide Sandy for our Mount Fuji trip. We made about 5 stops and he was very friendly and excited to make our trip a very special and memorable one. He recommended many specific places that we could take iconic photos in front of Mt. Fuji and while we originally thought the trip would mean we would climb the mountain, the locations we stopped at gave us a pretty nice view of the mountain along with plenty of flora. If you can climb the 400-step trail to the Pagoda, it’s worth the 256 calories you’ll burn to get the great shot from above with Mt. Fuji. Plan accordingly for each stop since everything is timed in a group trip mostly 30 minutes to an hour. To get to our meeting location when we start the morning trip, plan for at LEAST an hour to account for foot traffic (we met in Shinjuku in front of Tokyo Mode Gakuen early at 8:15AM. Highly recommend you arrive to the location no later than 8am because there are other tour operators and it can get confusing especially with so many people. But Sandy arrived at the meeting time and went out of his way to make sure even the late folx made it on the bus. Loved the eel and rice lunch! That was the first time I tried eel and the Udon soup was delicious. Sandy will take your orders for lunch and payment for it during the bus trip and there are vegan options as well. Filled up space for photos and videos on my phone but so glad I brought my camera with a new SD card-there are sooooo many different and beautiful photos you can take on this tour, so enjoy it! 😁🫰🏽

All the sites visited...

All the sites visited were beautiful and worth seeing. The guide was helpful and really friendly. There are tons of lunch options at Oshino Hakkai, where you will go after the lunch spot, and they are better than the lunch the tour guide will offer you (they take everyone to the same restaurant probably because they get a commission)

Superb day out !

A brilliant day when Mt Fuji came out to play all day !! Wonderful views all day ! The stops were all great and timed perfectly. Didn’t feel rushed at all. Keiko our guide was great. She made sure we were all on time for every stop ( I hate it when people are late back to the bus but that wasn’t going to happen with Keiko ! ) I didn’t do the lunch option but I’m told it was good and well worth the money ( I just wasn’t hungry ) Smooth journey all the way great commentary from our super guide ! If you want an all round Fuji day this is the one to do !
