Start your day with ease and convenience with pickups beginning from Canmore or Banff. From the moment you step into our comfortable, spacious vehicle, your small-group adventure begins. No need to worry about the details—your personalized tour has been thoughtfully planned to offer you the best experience possible. As you travel toward Moraine Lake and Lake Louise, your guide will share fascinating stories about the land’s wildlife, history, and ecology, offering a deeper connection to the places you’re about to explore.
Once everyone is on board, we’ll travel along the Bow Valley Parkway, this quieter road winds through beautiful forested landscapes and is known for its scenic views and potential wildlife sightings. Along the way, your guide will share fascinating stories about the land’s wildlife, history, and ecology before we make a brief stop at Morant’s Curve to stretch your legs, take in the sweeping mountain views, and enjoy a coffee or tea before continuing on.
Your first stop is Moraine Lake, where you’ll arrive before the crowds, allowing you to experience its serene beauty in peaceful solitude. As the morning light gently illuminates the shimmering lake, you’ll feel the peaceful atmosphere surrounding you. This moment is all yours—no rushing, no distractions. Your guide will direct you to the Rockpile, where you can take in panoramic views and discover the best spots for photography, whether you’re capturing the lake’s stunning hues or the towering peaks that surround it. You’ll have two hours to explore Moraine Lake at your own pace. Whether you want to paddle across the turquoise waters in a canoe, stroll along the serene lakeshore trail, or simply soak in the peaceful surroundings, this is your time to connect with the beauty of this iconic destination. Your belongings can stay safely in the vehicle, as your driver will be ready and waiting when it’s time to continue the journey.
The adventure continues as we head to Lake Louise. Upon arrival, your guide will share tips on how to make the most of your two hours there. Want to stroll along the lakeshore trail? Or, for a more peaceful experience away from the crowds, take our favorite hike up the Fairview Lookout trail. This quieter trail leads to a stunning viewpoint where you can enjoy a higher view of the lake with the iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in the background. Your guide will ensure you know exactly where to go for the best views. And, of course, they’ll be available to answer any questions, help with photos, or just offer advice on the best way to experience this iconic location. When it’s time to leave Lake Louise, you’ll settle back into the vehicle and enjoy a scenic drive as we make our way back to your accommodations. Along the way, your guide will offer personalized recommendations for activities in Banff and the surrounding National Parks.

Pickup will take place at your selected location. If you are unsure of your pickup details, please contact us in advance. Pickup times are scheduled within a window based on your departure and location: **7:00 AM Departure** • Canmore guests: pickup between 7:00 AM – 7:15 AM • Banff guests: pickup between 7:30 AM – 7:45 AM **8:00 AM Departure** • Canmore guests: pickup between 8:00 AM – 8:15 AM • Banff guests: pickup between 8:30 AM – 8:45 AM Please be ready at least 5 minutes before the start of your pickup window. To ensure a smooth and timely departure for all guests, the van will not be able to wait for late arrivals.

As per regulations, children under the age of 6 weighing 18 kg (40 lbs) or less must be secured in an appropriate child safety seat. If possible, kindly bring your child safety seat. In the event you cannot, we do have a limited supply. Please reach out to us in advance to secure one for you.
- Prior to your tour, we will send you a message with all important pickup details to help you prepare for your experience. This information is provided to ensure a smooth, easy, and stress-free start to your tour. If you have any questions before then, please feel free to reach out anytime.
- Our tours proceed rain, shine, or snow (yes, even in the summer!). However, in extreme weather conditions, we prioritize your safety and comfort—so we’ll either reschedule your tour or offer a refund.
- The mornings at Moraine Lake is chilly! Dress in layers to stay warm and ready for unpredictable mountain weather.
- In order to participate all adults must sign a waiver prior to the tour. A waiver must also be completed by the parent or guardian of any child under the age of 18. Failure to complete the waiver will result in the cancellation of your tour.
- No-shows, missed departures, or unused services are non-refundable.
- We require at least 6 guests for the tour to proceed. If we don’t reach this minimum number, we will offer you options to reschedule or receive a full refund.

We had an amazing experience on our Lake Louise and Moraine Lake tour! Our tour guide, Paul, was absolutely outstanding. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable about the area. He shared interesting facts and stories throughout the trip and made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves. What really stood out was how warm and welcoming Paul was. The entire tour felt less like being on a commercial tour and more like spending the day with family. The atmosphere was relaxed, comfortable, and enjoyable from start to finish. The breathtaking scenery combined with Paul’s excellent guidance made this a truly unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Banff, and if you get Paul as your guide, you’re in for a fantastic day!
Our tour with Sebastian was a huge highlight of our trip! The day started with a punctual and smooth pick up. Then followed by an enjoyable and informative ride to the lakes. On the ride in we saw a bear and two cubs along the wood line! The lakes were breathtaking and Sebastian helped us locate great spots for photos away from crowded areas. He recommend a variety of quick hikes and activities for us to do at each lake. Overall, our entire group loved this excursion and highly recommend Into the Wild Tours!

Perfect way to see Lake Moraine and Lake Louise! No stress about shuttle tickets or parking spots. Jeremy was our guide and so informative and helpful with advice with what to do at each lake. Nice small group size and complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Also use of hiking poles and a printed picture of you/your group at Lake Moraine. Would definitely book with Into the Wild again and hopefully get Jeremy as our guide!

Our trip was absolutely perfect and our guide Stacy was incredible. Do yourself a favor and book this where you actually get more than an hour at each lake. The one hour stops only allow for a quick pic and you’re right back on the road. This was the cheapest and most hassle free option to get to Louise and Moraine. We chose the earliest time slot and moraine was practically empty of people. It made for an amazing vibe and atmosphere. Once again, if you can book Stacy that would be awesome.

Tour was amazing! Our guide Kayla was on time for pick up, great at answering questions and providing information about the lakes and Banff National Park. 2hrs at each location is the perfect amount of time to be able to see everything and have time to relax and enjoy the beautiful views. I can't imaging only having an hour at each location, it would be way to rushed. I highly recommend this tour to really enjoy the experience!
