Affable guide, who has all the answers and the desire to share his knowledge. Full of anecdotes. We braved the heat and enjoyed Greenwich with the desire to return to follow Mark's recommendations.
Thanks for the great review - hope you had a safe drive back to Stratford! 🤣
An interesting walk through scenes of Greenwich Park, with an emphasis on “walk”! Be prepared for two-plus hours on your feet & a steep climb up the hill to the observatory & the meridian. The tour does not include access to any venue, just an introduction to each, so those are on your own. Our tour guide, Irene, was a delight & very knowledgeable about what we were seeing & the locations we stopped. This tour is not an easy stroll through Greenwich Park, which is not intended as a criticism but an awareness of what to expect. Not recommended for those with mobility issues, or at least an alert for them, but otherwise a great introduction to this borough if that is what you are seeking, although those in my party were ready to done long before we reached the end at Greenwich Mall.
