Itinerary
We will pick you up from your hotel or the train station and take the bus up to Machu Picchu. Once in the check point you will show your Machu Picchu tickets and passports, then we will we will walk up for 15 minutes to the main classic platform in order to take the classic photo of Machu Picchu. After we take pretty photos of you and your loved ones , we will explore Machu Picchu citadel. We will visit the farming areas, the houses, the sun temple, the sacred rock, the sundial, the temple of the cóndor, the, temple of the three windows and after finishing the experience, you can take the bus down to Aguas Calientes to have food and take the train back to Cusco.

Experience for the private tour was great. Private tour includes bus tickets and entrance tickets. That gave us peace of mind. Our tour guide was Hiram who rode the bus with us. He was nice and told us detailed info of Machu Picchu. Our family of 4 really enjoyed the amazing time at the site andlearning the info. One minor thing was the communication of details of tour, ticket and pick up info beforehand needs to be improved.

We visited Machu Picchu twice; first with Eric, then with Emerson. They were deeply knowledgeable and also knew how to pace our progress through the site - with all its many ups and downs - perfectly for a group ranging in age from late 50’s through early 70’s. Their pre-tour communication was excellent. And they were great photographers who knew just where to snap shots of the four of us to optimize the splendor of the setting.
