We booked the night prior and Ivone from Luzaya tourism reached out within 10 minutes. She was extremely professional and very helpful. She was able to answer all of my questions and they picked us up at our hotel the next day. We visited a lot of places in a short time and she was able to explain the history of Luanda and Angola very well. Her English was exceptional and we had a great time. I highly recommend this tour. Recommendation: make sure you hit breakfast before you go and bring extra cash for the market for souvenirs.
Well organized tour where the guide knew a lot to tell. Keep in mind that more people can be part of the group. This is already in the information about the tour.
Very. good tour yesterday with Danny as a guide. He knew alot and was willing to share it with all of us. I liked that he knew when to be clear that he didnt know an answer and when he was positive about his responses.
Danny was an excellent guide and spoke a good English so he was easy to understand. The sites visited were most interesting.
It was very good tour with Ivone and her driver. Here is my store and share it with you. Due to my reason, I rescheduled the tour meeting time from 8AM to 10AM. Ivone messaged and called me and it was very smooth to start my tour from the Cruise port. Ivone provided full tour without cutting anything short. It was a wonderful experience. To express my thanks, I did give them 30% tip. Thanks Ivone again.
Not a very informative or interesting tour. Lots of driving not much information. Didn’t include much local history. Usual tourists stops, nothing customized even though it was a private tour. Guide did not introduce herself, no identification, was not clear on where we were going or seeing.
Hi Doug, we apologize for the experience during the tour. We provide and stop by the attractions that are part of the program any, additional stops which we are very flexible to show are often asked in advance by the tourists. We however appreciate your feedback and will work on better presentation.
Too many characters required. Great city tour. Guide was great and we saw so much more of Luanda than other tours
The experience was very good. We passed all the combined points, good car, we met the scheduled time and the guide Silana was very attentive.
Angola was nice, sunny and warm just what I was looking for my winter vacation. I stayed quite far from the Luanda city center, which was not ei nice, but on the other hand it was nice. The surroundings were quiet, ecxept the music from the next door bar, but they stopped early. I had two tours, City tour and safari, provided by Luzaya tours operator. Both were well organized, pick up and drop off from my residence. I was staying in Recidencial Ru-B, or Espaco Rub and residence in Benfica Area, Zona Verde. It was nice place, very clean, not even those small ants like normally in Africa/Asia. The restaurant by chef Mauro served very good food. Elaine and Neide were nice and helpful all the time. I was told that Angola is dangerous, I did not notice any threat, but ok I am quite big man. If you are looking for a nice warm winter holiday, I recommend Angola.
It was a bit of a whirlwind tour, but so want my visit to Luanda. I think Luanda would be easy to visit on your own, but I just didn't have enough time. This tour showed me the highlights and I learned a bit about the history of Angola. The visit to the viewpoint of the moon and the slavery museum were great. There was also a craft market where I bought a mask. I was traveling solo but I was paired up with a family on the tour, which was nice. Good tour and good value. Recommended for those short on time.
