Starts early but worth it. Our group had about 25 people, you have to walk up to get to the palace which can take your breath away but it’s definitely doable and worth it. Would definitely recommend including the tickets as that allows you to see everything. Our guide Miriam was amazing, gave a lot of history and even sung (which was beautiful because she is professionally trained) which was a treat! The day goes by fast and there is a lot of walking but worth it. It is cooler in that area so definitely bring a sweater or light jacket as well as sunscreen and a hat.
Pedro our guide was excellent and we saw what we wanted to see. The time was enough also. We had a beautiful day.
The group guide was very friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the history of the place we visited. The trip was without delay and everything was on time. Recommended.
Booked incorrect date and attempted to change it within 2 minutes - declined. I was not wanting to cancel - only change the date of the experience. Have messaged company to discuss with no response. Very poor communication.
The tour operator assigned a heavy Italian accented tour guide. Therefore the communication was very bad. We booked an English speaking tour. The tour guide seemed to be inexperienced. Our group had to stand in the sun under high temperature in high 90's F for more than half an hour to learn about the Portugal history. We had high expectation because this tour is one of most popular day tour from Lisbon. We did not enjoyed the tour and we thought many things could have been better.
A city that was very beautiful and clean has become a dangerous place and lacks hygiene, disappointing
An exceptional day! Ricardo, our guide, was great, very friendly, with excellent organization, great support, and good information about the history of Portugal as well as the sites visited. He also provided very good advice for the rest of my stay. A big thank you to Ricardo without whom this day would certainly not have been as memorable. The sites visited are majestic; I recommend this excursion and this organization to everyone! Well done!
The organization of the trip was amazing! Everything on time! The tour guides were both great and always available for us. Highly recommended!
This trip was amazing!! This is what you must have done when you're in Lisbon. Good and clear organization, clear pick-up point (super central) and nice bus. The location Sintra itself was fairytale, with beautiful gardens with rippling waters and waterfalls, the upturned tower and the super beautiful castle. But Miguel/Michael (sorry if I don't write the name correctly) really made our trip. What a great guide! You give it to everyone on such a day. It is very nice to hear all kinds of fun facts in the earpiece you get and still be able to set your own pace. All tickets included is also really nice, the lines passed. In short, book this trip people!
This is an excellent day trip to take on a visit to Portugal. Our tour guides Kat and Miguel were very knowledgable and entertained us with stories and history of the places we visited. The tour started and ended on time and we also had time to explore Sintra and sample local delicacies. Highly recommend this trip
