Definitely touristy. But also not as crowded as the regular trams. If you want the experience of just riding and looking and a chance to just sit and observe this is a great choice. If you are looking for more high energy, this is not that. You ride the entire loop for around 1 hour. No getting on or off. However you are literally following the regular trams so you only go as fast as the tram in front of you. And while they stop at places to let passengers on and off. You just sit behind them and ride. We were looking for a chance to experience a tram without the crowds and this was the answer.
I can’t review it because we weren’t able to go because of late flights. I’m waiting to hear about getting a refund. If we do, we will rebook, this time with 9 people instead of 5. Hope they do it.

Although I've been to Portugal on many occasions over the years this was my first visit to Lisbon, loved the city ,its vibrant and beautiful, my twin brother and I decided to go with Yellow Bus Tours Lisbon and book the Lisbon Hills Red Tram,we were not disappointed. A vintage tram meanders upto the Alfama neighborhood of Lisbon, the oldest district of Lisbon, the route takes in many architectural gems ,its a photographers dream ,so many beautiful buildings including the famous Sé De Lisboa and Castelo De Sao Jorge up in the hills and so many other beautiful buildings,we both loved this tour,a highlight of our holiday, thanks again Yellow Bus Tours Lisbon.

We loved the experience with the Yellow Tours Lisbon! Raquel received us super well, always very friendly, helpful and attentive. It was she who advised us the Lisbon Hills Red Tram tour with the route of the tram 28, and it was indeed an excellent suggestion. The route is actually very beautiful, it passes through historical areas and incredible viewpoints, giving to know Lisbon in a very typical and quiet way. It was definitely worth it, audio tour in your own language and almost the same route as tram 28 which is often very full.
