Discover the Basilica da Estrela monument, rich in details and history. Also known as the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, it is one of the most important monuments of the 18th century in Lisbon. The Baroque style predominates throughout the building, although the central body of the façade is in neoclassical style. Of particular note are the baroque statuary and the harmonious interior, where the use of marble stands out. Still inside, we can see the admirable nativity scene by Machado de Castro (18th century), with figures in cork and terracotta.

This garden is breathtaking! Located at the top of Avenida da Liberdade, it offers an excellent panoramic view over the city. Initially called Parque da Liberdade, it was renamed after the King of England when he visited Lisbon in 1903. Since its origins, this park has been the stage for fairs, exhibitions and entertainment. Its structure, with a grass-covered central strip, flanked by a Portuguese pavement walkway, was designed by architect Keil do Amaral, constituting an important milestone in the urban evolution of the city.

2 hour Tuk Tuk tour was a hit with the whole family

We had a fun time with Ricardo, touring around Lisbon with our 7 year old daughter! He was very knowledgeable and tried to keep it interesting for our daughter as well, including a quick playground stop at a beautiful park. Definitely recommend!

Most interesting tour

We had the most amazing few hours with Ricardo. Orginal from Lisbon. His knowledge, love & passion for his city was infectious . It is probably the best tour we’ve ever had in any city. Really enjoyed it & feel a little closer to Lisbon with all our new knowledge.

Beautiful city tour
