Itinerary
El Golfo is famous for its bright green crater lake and black sand beaches, which are sprinkled with the beautiful green olivine stones. El Golfo is also one of the best places to eat seafood on Lanzarote.
We will take an easy walk inside the volcanic crater of ‘el cuervo’. During the walk you will be surrounded by impressive volcanic landscapes.
Los Hervideros; or translated the cooking pots is an impressive coastline where the waves crash against the black cliffs. Here we can take a stroll right along the coast
Jameos del Agua is a unique place, where nature and art perfectly come together. César Manrique transformed the debris of a volcanic tube into this masterpiece, connected by a small lake, inhabited by small blind crabs he made a restaurant, garden and auditorium.
Mirador Del Río is Lanzarote’s most spectacular viewing point, which offers panoramic views over the Risco de Famara, isla La Graciosa and the other isles of the chinijo archipelago national park.
Cueva de los Verdes is part of one of the longest volcanic tunnels on the planet, formed by volcano ‘la Corona’. On a guided walk you will visit 2 km of this tunnel, which is one of the most interesting volcanic structures on the island and holds a surprising secret
Lanzarote has a unique vine culture, with delicious wines. Drive through the region of La Geria, where you can see the vines growing on the side of the black volcanoes. We‘ll stop at one of the wineries, so you can see this from more up close. Make sure you try the Malvasia volcanica wine!
César Manrique‘s Cactus Garden is located in an old quarry and has the largest cactus plantation on the island. It features around 4,500 specimens of 450 different species, of 13 different families of cactus from the five continents.
For anyone fascinated with volcanoes the Timanfaya visitor centre is not to be missed. The centre has lots of information, facts and figures, not just about Lanzarote but general volcanology from around the world. The exhibition also includes a seismograph, meteosat and meteorological station and there are videos and interactive maps.
The Lagomar Museum, also known as the House of Omar Sharif, is a wonderful construction sheltered among the remains of an old quarry in the small town of Nazaret. The house, which was originally conceived by César Manrique and designed by artist Jesus Soto is a perfect combination of art and nature, with tunnels, caves and terraces. Each corner designed with beautiful detail.

Alejandro was a great guide and very helpful, he took us to the best spots and was flexible with pick up and drop off. Would recommend
Thanks guys for the review! Here we are for your next time in Lanzarote! Alejandro
The tour guide, was excellent, her knowledge of the island was wonderful, she made it for me. The bus driver was wonderful, he knew those roads very well, I felt very safe.
Lanzarote is a very dry, arid island. The tour was average; nothing extraordinary. Alejandro was courteous and professional. He would answer our questions but he will not provide a continuous narrative of the culture, geography, economy, etc.
Splendid day out! We really enjoyed the whole day! Collection and drop off were straightforward and on time. Guide was fun and helpful and provided insights at every stop. The caves were interesting and the views spectacular at each stop. Bus driver did a great job! Very pleased I wasn't driving especially on the part of the tour through the volcanic rock. Good value for money and would recommend to others. Saved time too, as didn't have to stand in line for any of the places we visited!
We had a great time. Alejandro managed to adapt to our wishes while offering us a perfect organization for this day spent together. The seaside fisherman restaurant in Arietta was a very nice surprise, thank you again! Julie
A really enjoyable and informative half day tour. Alejandro was an excellent guide, taking us to some fascinating parts of Lanzerote including a walk into El Cuervo volcano and the vineyards of La Geria. We appreciated his relaxed, friendly approach and he was great at answering all our questions. Would highly recommend.
Had the perfect day on this tour! Alejandro was so kind and patient with my family. We saw so much of the beautiful island without the stress of driving ourselves and we never felt rushed at all. Alejandro also took us to a dreamy restaurant by the beach for lunch - I could have happily sat there all day. Highly recommend this trip to everyone…I’ll be back!
Excellent tour! Would highly recommend. Very prompt pick up by Alejandro, comfortable vehicle and very personable guide with great taste in music! We were able to go to all the spots we wanted to and take our time exploring. Bonus points to Alejandro for taking us to amazing lunch spot and lesser known bodega with no crowds and delicious wine.
