Full Day in Kuala Lumpur

The tour was organized with transportation provided, but there was no tour guide—only a driver. While the driver - Stanley - did point out places as we passed by, it was difficult to see many of them because the van windows were quite hard to look through. The places we stopped at were good and worth visiting; however, having a tour guide to explain the history and facts about each location would have made the experience more informative and enjoyable.

Operator response

Hai thanks for the review !) Stanley was a experience and good driver , he had basic knowledge on the attractions. We can provide professional tour guide upon request where they are very knowledgeable and we have to hire them , it come with a cost. 2) It is a Malaysia government law for bigger vehicle and van to keep their window close while on road.

Too Much Traffic, Too Little Kuala Lumpur

We booked the 8-hour Kuala Lumpur city visit through Viator. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations. Most of the day was spent stuck in traffic, so we did not get to see much of the city or its highlights. While our driver/guide was very kind, polite, and accommodating, he lacked knowledge about Kuala Lumpur’s history, culture, and landmarks. This made the tour feel more like a long car ride than a guided city experience. Overall, we appreciated the driver’s friendliness, the Friday prayer in the big mosque, but the tour itself was disappointing. If you are looking to truly discover Kuala Lumpur, its stories, and hidden gems, this option may not be the best choice.

Operator response

Thanks for effort to leave review to us madam, my apologies for the inconvenience , the tour was on festival day in Malaysia that's lead to high traffic because a lot of tourist and local people was on the road. In future we will advice the guest regarding this so they are aware on this. My apologies on this matter. We will take note and improvise on this issue.

Driving around Kuala Lumpur

This tour was amazing! We spent good time at all the main attractions in Kuala Lumpur. Our tour guide and driver, Vishnu was patient, helpful and respectful throughout which was important for me and my friend travelling together. It started raining halfway through our tour which made it difficult to walk around a bit so we ended up finishing the tour a bit early but it was still amazing! 🤩

Operator response

A brilliant way to get to know KL in a day.

I was slightly apprehensive about what to expect after reading some recent reviews. However, it ended up being an amazing day. We saw so many places and sampled a whole range of experiences of life in KL. Sadiq, our tour guide, was an amazing font of knowledge about the cultural, economic, political and social history of KL and Malaysia. He was an amazing ambassador for KL and for Malaysia. The itinerary for the day was very full and perhaps a tad over optimistic. In particular, the queues for the skyboxes at the KL tower and the celebrations marking Thaipusam meant it took longer than planned to get to the Temple at Batu Caves. All in all a very enjoyable day. I would thoroughly recommend the tour.
