Great guide and fun tour. Ty was very knowledgeable guide. He knows about history and current events.
We had an awesome time with Sean touring New Town. He’s such a nice and knowledgeable person, I could ask him any and all questions. It was fun and chill, full of anecdotes, adapting the rhythm to my rhythm. The area is full of street art and history and that was just what I was looking for. Thanks heaps, it felt like walking the area with a friend !
This tour was fun to see several different restaurants/clubs. The tour guide was very friendly and accommodating. The tour guide made sure we were enjoying ourselves and felt safe.

Frank was very engaging and knowledgable. He and Ty were our guide on the walk through the Windybrow, and into Hillbrow and Berea. As a person who has grown up around the corner from the inner city, I found the experience very informative and fun.
I did enjoy every moment, but the visit at the farm and vegan experience did left me with warm feeling. I am spreading the experience to the circle of my friends. And I am wishing everyone much success.
If you're a local (or visiting SA), go do this tour! You need to see and understand Joburg from this perspective - starting with a conversation, Franck took us back to the days of mining, when the city welcomed all those who were ready to hustle hard for their dreams. This context gave way to the understanding of the Afropolitan city we now know today as Johannesburg. Fast forward to the heart of Yeoville, where the continent is represented by the countless number of African restaurants that line the bustling streets. This was truly a taste of Africa, where we sat together and united over all the continent has to offer. Not to be missed!
