Very hard to understand the narrating inside dining because everyone was talking. Would be great if there was a QR code to scan to listen to what was being said. I was able to ingest about 50% of what was said. Other than that the experience is definitely a “must do”. Enjoyed the brunch, different levels of seating, and relaxing.
We love being on a "must do" list. Thank you for all your great comments.
Good food. Nice atmosphere. Relaxing. The service was top notch. I would recommend it to anyone to go.
Your recommendation means so much to all of us in the riverboat family.
I paid for a steamboat, and obviously we were assigned to the sister boat, the copy one which works on … diesel. Big disapointment!
We understand your disappointment when you wanted the see the workings of a steam driven paddlewheeler. Although the boat you boarded is also propelled by the paddlewheel the engine that runs the wheel is not steam. Due to unexpected situations we need to substitute the boats, and we do note that on our reservation information.
Great experience. We bought the brunch trip, served on level 1. Good food. Bowl of gumbo and 3 mimosa tickets per person given by wait staff. Ask if they’re not provided. We didn’t know about the Mimosas, so they were nice. The jazz band on level 2 played well and there was interesting commentary. If the brunch isn’t purchased, snacks and drinks are available at the bar. It was a nice boat, not the Natchez but the same standard. Very relaxing. Air conditioned inside and plenty of seating outside. Photo taken and available for purchase.
Thank you for such a great overall cruise review. We hope we can serve you again in the future.
2.5 hour experience on a steamboat with brunch. Excellent cruise. Good good. Very informative and relaxing.

It is wonderful to hear that you joined us on Fathers Day. A special occaision and very special guests.
Fantastic service, good food. My husband and I went for a birthday dinner. The band was amazing and a quintessential New Orleans classic!
Happy Birthday wishes once again. We appreciate the opportunity of helping you celebrate!
The brunch buffet was a good offering - scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, home fried potatoes, shrimp & grits, biscuits and gravy, salad smoked salmon and desserts. The seating was spread out to not feel crowded, the ship stays locked while brunch is being served. After eating, we made our way out to the seating areas on the lower deck to enjoy the breeze and listen to the captain give a wonderful narrative about the sites and historical locations down the Mississippi River. Best staff attendant: Milton! 10/10 Hint: Port side has the best views of the sights described by the Captain.
Nikkie, this review was wonderful. You covered so much of the Sunday Brunch and certianly other guests will appreciate learning all this about the experience.
The cruise was a great experience. The food was incredible. The band kept everything fun and lively. The views were beautiful. It was a really good time.
Families are our favorite groups. Thanks so much to all of you for joining us.
Recommended by the hotel concierge. We took the 1130 brunch cruise. Boarding and underway was on time. Our brunch was at 12 noon. There was plenty of selections on the buffet and food was OK, even better than some restaurants we tried here in New Orleans. Cruise was smooth and boat Return to Port on schedule.
