Wonderful excursion! Well worth the money!
Quite an experience! Extremely foggy for the most part, some trails closed for safety and bus malfunction on the return trip - back three hours later than planned. But the driver managed to stay optimistic with every setback. Kudos to him! Still worth it though.
It is just what it says and just what we wanted; a 'quick' trip that wouldn't take up your whole day like others. The bus leaves on time at 8. It takes almost two hours, including a 10-minute stop. You are at the cliffs for two hours. There is time to see them, but it is a bit tight to see them leisurely. The return is a bit longer, about two and a half hours, but that is because the driver takes a very beautiful route along the coast and makes another stop in an area they call lunar landscape (although it has nothing lunar about it like Lanzarote might). The only downside is that it leaves at 8 in the morning, but on the other hand, that allows you to be back in Galway by lunchtime and be able to take advantage of the afternoon. Recommended if you want to spend only half a day
If you are a fan of nature, go for it. It's a very nice way to get to the Cliffs of Moher. As well as Cliffs of Moher.
Perfect half day trip to the cliffs! It took a little over an hour drive to the cliffs and the roads to get there are steep and windy, so if you get motion sick keep this in mind. We had just under 2 hours to explore the cliffs which was the perfect amount of time for us. Great visibility the day we went and our driver was organized and friendly.
The bus is great. We brought our lunch and had a great day. Weather was great. The bus driver showed us a Pic of a bad weather day there.
Awesome experience. Guide and driver were top notch.
My husband did the booking for me and my sisters. It was an easy process. Had copies of tickets. Thatsxall they was needed.
The trip started at 8 am and that was good. When we arrived about at 9:30 there were not yet so many people.
An excursion that is worth the detour as the landscapes are breathtaking. Fortunately we left early because there were not too many people yet when we arrived, which was no longer the case by the end of the morning. The drive is a bit long and the driver does not provide any commentary. But the landscapes are magnificent and the 2 hours of walking in the fresh air are really worth it.
