Do not recommend a carriage ride. Way over priced.

The ferry ride is fine. The cliffs are beautiful. Please beware on the island of the horse and carriage drivers. Ask for prices and clearly state what you want. Our driver gave us a bunch of BS to get the sale. As it turned out there were two other families riding with us and did not do what ever we wanted. I requested to return at 2pm and he said no problem we were 30 minutes late and tried to blame it on the other famillies. Just beware.

Great trip but take your earplugs.

It’s definitely a must do to go to the island and the cliffs. It was smooth sailing there and back and the weather was glorious. My only issue was the radio blaring music all the way there which kind of detracted from the experience

Okay

We met the ferry at 9 for a 9:30 sailing. At least o e toilet was clogged by 9:50 am. Not their fault, but employees need to be patrolling and checking common areas. The tour of the cliffs was interesting. A recording played, so that was easier to understand than someone speaking over the loud speaker. They slowed at one point when a whale was spotted. The trip was fine. Very pricey, in my opinion.

Aran Island and cliffs of moher day trip

Myself and my husband went to Galway film festival and added this to the trip for the next day. We brought the kids with us and it was absolutely fantastic. The crew are so friendly so welcoming and so helpful. I am a very bad traveller at any time so even on the calmest day I had a sick bag outside upstairs. The crew even suggested to the captain to take the turns slower to help with my nausea. I did not expect anybody to do this or even take me into consideration whatsoever. They were very kind to the kids and made them feel so happy and welcome on board. Even considering I was so sick, they were so wonderful. My husband and my kids did not feel sick whatsoever and spent most of the time laughing at me. Even though I was sick, I still enjoyed the views so much. It was an incredible trip. It was so well organised unhurried. When we get off the boat there were bikes to rent and horse and carriage rides were an option as well. We went with the horse and cart as we felt it would suit the theme of the day. When we return to the ship, we went to the cliffs of Moher and it was just incredible. Had no idea that they used the cliffs for the Harry Potter movie. Kids had a blast. Really fabulous trip. If you feel sick, just don’t eat anything at all. You won’t need a sick bag. We had a glorious very hot day it was just perfect.

Beautiful ❤️

The Boat trip was great. Good facilities on board. The island is beautiful. We saw lots of puffins amongst many other sea birds at the beautiful Cliffs of Moher and we saw 3 pods of Dolphins as we sailed back while seeing the beautiful Burren coast of Co.Clare. The Crew were really nice. It's a worth while trip.

Great Day!

Great day! Well organized, on time! Great way to experience seeing the Cliffs of Moher from the water. Bike rental is right off the boat dock.

Ride was tougher than expected

There was a long line to board We had seats in bow that was very bouncy such that granddaughter hurled. Ride back near stern was better. The time on the island was tooooo long

Beautiful but prepare for sea sickness

Exploring Inishmore island was great. The day we went was very windy so make sure to wear layers. And the ship ride was very rough. I recommend eating a light breakfast with some bread to help avoid sea sickness. Highly recommend this trip!

You have to rent a bike

BE WARNED! Aran island is too large to walk. They sell you a bike hire for the day at big prices. We walked 6 miles on the island and saw nothing impressive. You have to bike, so get ready to open your wallet one more time.
