Fantastic experience! My tour guide was John B, and not only was he extremely knowledgeable throughout the entire trip, but he was very friendly and relatable. I would highly recommend a tour with Lally, and specifically with John B as guide, to anyone I know taking a trip to Ireland in the future.
Lovely day! I've been to the Cliffs before and I thoroughly enjoyed this particular tour. Going to the caves was a nice little extra that I had never done before. Seamus was a fantastic tour guide! He told us enough history and stories without being overwhelming. There were enough stops to break up the day. Lunch was at O'Donahues. Can't say it was great food but not bad and very efficient.
I highly recommend this tour and Lally tours in general. Shane was a really informed, friendly and funny tour guide. The bus was incredibly comfortable, and it was a small amount of people which is always great. I unfortunately didn’t get to see a view at the cliffs, classic Irish weather, but everything else we saw and learnt made the tour still worth it. Especially going to the caves!
Richie was absolutely first class from start to finish and made today’s tour an unforgettable experience. His knowledge of every landmark and location was exceptional, and he didn’t just point things out—he brought them to life with fascinating history, stories, and the full backstory behind each place we visited. He gave us plenty of opportunities to stop, take in the breathtaking scenery, and truly appreciate the beauty of the west of Ireland. What made the day even more special were the thoughtful personal touches he added along the way, which made the tour feel unique and memorable. Our visits to the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, Aliwee Caves, and Hazel Mountain Chocolate were all fantastic, but Richie’s enthusiasm, professionalism, and genuine passion for what he does elevated the entire experience. I’ve done this tour before with other coach drivers, but Richie was, by far and away, the most exceptional guide and driver I’ve had. He is a real credit to the company, and I would highly recommend requesting Richie for your next tour. You won’t be disappointed!
This tour was amazing! Seamus was the best guide. He was knowledgeable, funny, patient, and kept our group going. Based on this experience I will be taking more Lally Tours in the future!
Seamus was an outstanding guide: humorous, informative, and just the right amount of chatting.
We did the day tour from Galway to Cliffs of Moher and the Burren with Lally Tours - it was incredible! Our guide John B was so knowledgeable on the landscape, history, and culture - we had just a lovely day listening to him while we saw the countryside. Plenty of stops and photo opportunities, and an excellent lunch at Fitz’s in Doolin. Would highly highly recommend
This was one of the greatest tours I have been on. My husband and I went to see the Cliffs of Moher (even though it was too foggy to actually see). We had the very best time. They broke up the tour so you weren’t sitting on the bus too long. The spots we went to were lovely. We did not go into the Alliwee caves but we walked around in nature while others did the tour. I loved seeing the burren, it was such a different landscape than I was used to. However the best part by far was our tour guide John B. He gave us relevant history we needed to know to understand the landscape, he played Irish music and told us about the local towns and small history moments. It felt like riding around with an uncle who has lived here all his life and was sharing his home. We could not recommend enough. This is the best tour!!!!
Shane was very knowledgeable with a good sense of humor. Kept everything running smoothly. We had a very good time
Like the title says, I think this is one of the best tours to see more than just Galway! It’s got popular airs like the Cliffs of Moher, but also stops at various places that most people just drive by. The highlight is for sure the Aillwee Cave. The tour isn’t included in the price, but is heavily discounted and absolutely worth the extra 12 Euro. Our guide Shane was amazing, and he played great music! If you want a really fun and easy tour with a mix of classic tourist spots and unique experiences, you can’t pick a better day tour!
