It was great to see so much in a few hours.
Very short tour not worthy . It is a busy city so the tour is maybe only 30 minutes the rest traffic.
We are very sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with your experience with us.There seems to be a misunderstanding. We do not operate any 30-minute tours.
Jasmin attended to us, a very kind young woman who explained everything well and gave us good recommendations! The ticket purchase was quick and straightforward.
Great way to see the outer parts of the city. Shoutout to Jasmin at the starting point. She was awesome. Friendly and very informative.
Thank you for your feedback :)
I have taken numerous Hop On Hop Off Bus Tours both across the United States and internationally. This was the most disappointed experience I have ever had with them. Maybe Munich just doesn't have enough attractions to make the tour beneficial or maybe many of the great attractions are centrally located within a small walking distance which reduces the advantages of a hop on hop off bus. I took the City Tour. To start with, we sat in an extremely hot bus without the air conditioning running for approximately 20 minutes. Once we did get started, the route followed was not the one identified on the map. I was planning to initially get off the bus at Stop 2, which should have been a very short ride. However on the route the bus followed, we rode around without any stops for approaximately 30 minutes. And what was identified on the map as Stop 2 was actually Stop 1. The audio commentary was minimal and of little interest - much of it was filled with music. We primarily drove around city streets, stopping at about every stop light along the route. The air conditioning on the bus was all but non-existant making for sweltering conditions. There was no air moving inside the bus. I was never so happy to finally be able to exit the bus and walk on my own. I would NOT recommend this tour. I felt it was a complete waste of money.
Dear Tom, Thank you very much for your message. Unfortunately, the past few days in Munich have been exceptionally hot. As a result, it was also very warm on our open-top double-decker buses. Since the upper deck is open, it naturally cannot be equipped with an air conditioning system. Regarding the Odeonsplatz stop, we would also like to point out that this is Stop No. 2. Stop No. 1 is Munich Central Station, which is also the starting point of our tour.
jazmín is the best!! Thanks very much for your service and help!!
We had booked for Saturday, June 20. Unfortunately, the meeting point at the marketplace could not be maintained due to the Munich Brewer's Day. The police officer who was there sent us to the next stop. There it said, "Will not be serviced today." We wanted to experience everything by bus because my friend has difficulty walking. Not a single indication during the booking that the bus does not go to Marienplatz on Brewer's Day due to their parade with the brewery horses. Walked to the next station after the police officer told us to walk to the next station, exactly the same situation. Station will not be serviced today. The next day, a second attempt where everything worked out. The biggest downside is that there was not a single indication during the booking, even though it is surely known all year that Brewer's Day takes place on that day.
Dear Customer, We are very sorry to hear about your experience. As soon as we are informed that an event in the city will affect our routes or that certain stops cannot be served, we immediately publish this information on our website. We also provide the same information in our ticket shop so that customers are informed before purchasing their tickets. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. Kind regards, Your CitySightseeing Munich Team
We only had one day in Munich, and it was a great opportunity to see as much of the city as possible in a short time.
Vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung:)
Difficulty in finding the stops, altered routes due to events in the city, and poorly marked alternative paths. The audio guide in Italian is ridiculous.
Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. Unfortunately, due to city events, route changes are sometimes unavoidable. We always do our best to inform our guests through our website, at our stops, and on board, but we understand that finding the alternative stops can still be challenging. We also appreciate your comments regarding the Italian audio guide. We are currently working on updating and improving all of our audio guides to provide a better experience for our guests.
We were very satisfied with the three tours.
Vielen Dank :)
