Itinerary
Our guide will meet you at White Rose Restaurant. You will stop there and try dumplings made from a family recipe that has been kept for over 130 years.
Stop at a local market when many food stalls open for students after school. You will try five tastings of traditional cakes. You may be surprised because they are savory, not sweet.
Because it was an international trading port, where people met and shared cultures, Hoi An became the place of the first Catholic church in Vietnam. There are many interesting stories about Vietnam’s history from this church. You can learn more when you join the tour with our knowledgeable guide.
Visit the Ba Le Well area and sample the food here, where locals still share stories and rumors about the special water here.
Visit Hoi An Central Market. Many stalls look the same, and some sellers can be pushy. But there is one special stall that Anthony Bourdain visited and featured on his TV series. Even though it has no queue and is not crowded, it feels like a forgotten Anthony Bourdain spot.

This was a great experience trying a variation of local dishes in Hoi An. We visited local food hotspots that were not mentioned online, and wouldn’t have thought to try, but were a very pleasant surprise! Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, warm and friendly. Thank you!
My experience on this food tour was great. We tried a wide range of different dishes which were all delicious and were well portioned. Our tour guide was also very knowledgable and was able to answer all questions. Would definitely recommend this tour!
Our group of 5 friends took this tour and had a great time trying 12 different foods across hoi an. All the spots were authentic local spots with fantastic local cuisine that I would never had thought to try. Our guide Quin was very friendly and informative making it a great experience to do when I’m hoi an.
Quin is fun and insightful, she took us to so many incredible places, food was just so good and yummy! Hope to see you again quin and to try more delicious food! light and love - Luka
Quin took us on a walking tour through the back streets of Vietnam, you really felt like you had left the tourist parts of Hoi An and were really in the thick of local Hoi An. You get to eat some very diverse food and some of the best we had in the whole Vietnam. Not every dish is for every person and Quin is very upfront about that it's a genuine cuisine tasting tour and not a "top ten popular Vietnam take away". It's well worth it, Quins so insightful and she works so hard to make a good vibe and has a lot of fun with the tour. Not only food tastingbut Quin gives you the history behind the food and the people making it
Such a fun experience! We tried eight different local dishes, many I would have never found on my own. I loved learning the history behind each food and getting to support small family-run businesses. Quyen was a great guide and made the whole tour so enjoyable. Definitely recommend!
very much recommend this tour ! our tour guide quin was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about hoi ans food and history. went to so many places we wouldn’t never found on our own !
Quin did a wonderful job introducing us to many of the foods that are unique to Hoi An. We were able to taste so many delicious dishes and learn about Hoi An’s history through food. Come hungry and pace yourself.
**Highly recommended!** Quyen was an excellent guide and the food choices were amazing. She guided us thru some beautiful parts of Hoi An in our way to various foods tastings. We even experience a thunderstorm during in the middle of our tour, but Quyen made sure we still enjoyed our time. The thunderstorm was actually a delightful experience since it cooled down the city and we only got a little wet. Make sure you come very hungry, because there will be more than enough food. If you are unfamiliar with Vietnamese food, this is am excellent way to familiarize yourself with the choices at restaurants
This was one of the best things we did in Hoi An. Such a wonderful way to see the city and learn about the culture. Sonny, our tour guide, was lovely and very knowledgeable. Would really recommend
