Spend a morning or afternoon to weave through Hoi An rural villages by bicycle. You'll visit friendly local families on Cam Kim island, experience first-hand local crafts and way of life. The route is very quiet and flat, away from crowded tourists area. Unique route and special experiences: Bike aross a scenic bridge to Cam Kim island, see fishing villages, endless rice paddies, veggie gardens, prawn farms. Visit a local home, use stone mill to grind rice, make rice papers and snacks, sit down to enjoy. Visit a local home, see how they make lots of rice wine to keep everyone happy. Stop for tasty Vietnamese coffee & Use washroom. Visit Tra Nhieu fishing village, weave colorful straw mats. Visit a unique whale worshiping temple. Visit Kim Bong carpentry village, see local people carve wood and use seashell to make furniture. Cycle back to Hoi An, tasty Vietnamese meal by the river, near starting point. Tour with meal is 5 hours. Tour without meal is 4 hours.

Itinerary
Meet all the guests on the tour at our office and get used to your bikes on the quiet road before kick-off. Our guide will introduce the tour itinerary and give you some instructions for a safe and fun tour.
From the office, we ride through the old town then crossing the scenic bridge and bike on quiet roads of Cam Kim island to take in the beauty of the serene countryside and meet the villagers. Drive on the riverside path to a local family, where we learn how to cook and savor Hoi An style rice crackers.
After that, we ride along the river bank to another home, you will learn how to make the unique round boats from bamboo. Meeting a 93 years old master who started to do this job since he was 7, the most amazing craft skills you have never seen.
Bike under the shade of palm trees, we come to a home distillery, learn to make and drink Rice Wine local style.
Ride on some more little paths, we cross the scenic Wooden Bridge, take a short break at a local coffee house. Time to refresh with a cold drink and learn about coffee culture in the village.
Ride through serene farming fields, we visit a family and help them use river reeds to weave Colorful Bed Mats. We then drive through farming fields to the river bank. Great photo opportunity!
Hop on the Local Ferry to cross Thu Bon river. We then cycle to our office in Hoi An, the tour ends around 12.30 PM.
