We start the pickup at your hotel in Playa del Carmen, then we transfer you to Punta Sam to pick the boat and start the tour into the surrounding areas of Isla Contoy. Where the whale sharks arrive in huge amounts every year from May to September, a great opportunity to swim beside this harmless sharks.

Once the activity is done you will visit "Playa Norte" at Isla Mujeres Island for the lunch of fresh fish ceviche and chicken sandwiches. Then transfer back to Puerto Juarez for van drop off at your hotel at playa del Carmen could take 1 hour for transfer.

IMPORTANT: The port fee & whale shark natural protected area entrance are not included in the price, USD 30 per person, these federal fees must be paid in cash at the port, bring cash there is no ATM in the port.

Great experience to see and swim a few meters from the whale shark. The feeling is amazing. Carlos, a very friendly and attentive person.

We were really excited about this tour, but since the shark was not to be found, we ended up with spending the entire day at open sea, looking for it. When it comes to nature, you can never be sure what to get, but locals told us that there are not many whalesharks there in July. We returned disappointed and hungry after have spent an entyre day of vacation and a good amount of money. This is not ment to ba a critisism of the crew, they did as good as they could.
Unfortunately, this is a nature tour, but some days whale sharks are not on the surface feeding, for the chance to swim with them. our crew does the impossible to locate them, but nature is unpredictable some days.
Amazing experience! Carlos and his crew took very good care of us. The driver picked us up at the Hotel in Playa del Carmen early in the morning and dropped us off in the harbour of Cancun. Carlos gave a lot of information about the whale sharks and the tour. We sailed into the open sea with a group of 10 people. We could swim with the whale sharks when it was our turn. It was organised very well with the other boats. They were constantly communicating where the sharks were at and whose turn it was to swim with them. Next to that, they had food and drinks on the boat. After the tour, we went to Isla Mujeres for a lunch break. The chef and the captain prepared a fresh lunch for us while we could enjoy the shallow waters and beach of Isla Mujeres. I've booked it online a while ago and they were immediately in touch via WhatsApp with us. What a beautiful experience and I will totally recommend this agency to book your tour with Carlos and his crew!

IT WAS SUCH AN AMAZING, INCREDIBLE TOUR!! Highly recommend! It was such a pleasure to see and swim with this beautiful gorgeous creatures! So much fun and adrenaline! Whale sharks are absolutely lovely and docile creatures so there is nothing to be scared about! YOU HAVE TO TRY IT! It’s recommended to go in the full moon because then there is more of them! Special thank you to the guide who was with us OMAR HEBERT! Such a caring and lovely guy, help me swim closer to the whale sharks cause I couldn’t keep up hahah.

It was my granddaughters first time in deep open water and snorkeling, and our tour guide and escort "Carlos Javier Tec <charlie85borregui@gmail.com>" was AMAZING!!! He made her feel super Safe/Comfortable and was able to get close photos of my granddaughter swimming with these beautiful gentle giants of the ocean. My wife was so her we pick this tour, the whole crew on the boat was super nice and took care of this old Brooklyn Boy and his family... Hats Off to Carlos and Crew, we had an AMAZING /Life Time Bucket List Adventure!!! A MUST DO.
